Tapón de recipiente (1), especialmente tapón de botella, hecho de metal conformado por embutición profunda, con un fondo (3) que cierra la boca del recipiente, y que presenta una pared lateral (5) periférica, así como un inserto de junta (9) estampado previsto en la una superficie interior (7) dirigida hacia la boca del fondo (3), que presenta una zona anular (11) periférica, que se apoya en una boca cuando ésta está cerrada, habiéndose previsto en la zona anular (11) una zona de compresión (13) que actúa conjuntamente con el borde del recipiente, caracterizado porque la zona anular (11) por lo menos presenta una ranura (N), que se extiende -vista desde la zona central (19) del inserto de junta (9; 9¿; 9¿; 9¿¿)- hasta la zona de compresión (13).
