LA TRANSFORMACION DE CELULAS SOMATICAS ES UTIL PARA EL CUIDADO MEDICO Y VETERINARIO DE ENFERMEDADES GENETICAS, Y PARA OTROS PROPOSITOS TERAPEUTICOS O DE MEJORAMIENTO DE ANIMALES. EL METODO UTILIZA UN APARATO ELECTRICO DE ACELERACION DE DESCARGA DE PARTICULAS QUE PUEDE INYECTAR UNAS PARTICULAS MUY PEQUEÑAS DE ORO Y OTRO MATERIAL DENSO LLEVANDO CONSTRUCTORES GENETICOS REVESTIDOS EN EL A LAS CELULAS VIVAS DE ANIMALES. LOS ANIMALES NO SOLO VIVEN, SI NO QUE NO HAY NINGUN ROCE NI SANGRE EN EL LUGAR DEL TRATAMIENTO.
