LA OPTIMIZACION DEL COMPORTAMIENTO EN CUANTO A SEÑALIZACION DE UN DETECTOR, PARA UN SISTEMA QUE PERMITE DETERMINAR LA SITUACION DEL TRAFICO, Y POR CONSIGUIENTE LA OPTIMIZACION DE LA ENERGIA UTILIZADA POR DICHO DETECTOR Y DE LOS RECURSOS DE TELECOMUNICACION EMPLEADOS EN RELACION CON LA TRANSMISION DE DATOS SOBRE EL TRAFICO, SE HACE POSIBLE POR UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA DETERMINAR LA SITUACION DEL TRAFICO, QUE UTILIZA UN CENTRO DE CONTROL Y DETECTORES FIJOS SITUADOS EN VARIOS PUNTOS DE UNA RED DE CARRETERAS. LOS DETECTORES REUNEN CADA UNO DATOS SOBRE EL TRAFICO EN SUS LUGARES RESPECTIVOS, Y TRANSMITEN DATOS SOBRE EL TRAFICO AL CENTRO DE CONTROL, DE ACUERDO CON UN ESTADO PREDEFINIBLE DE COMPORTAMIENTO EN LA SEÑALIZACION. PARA CADA DETECTOR SE PROPORCIONAN DIVERSOS ESTADOS DE COMPORTAMIENTO DE SEÑALIZACION, SIENDO SELECCIONADOS TALES ESTADOS AL MENOS DE ACUERDO CON LOS DATOS DEL TRAFICO, Y DEFINIENDO EL COMPORTAMIENTO DEL DETECTOR EN CUANTO A SEÑALIZACION.
