Abstract

La invención trata sobre un material cristalino microporoso, con un difractograma de rayos X característico, constituido por tetraedros de oxigeno y un metal (T+4 à y T+3 à) con posibilidad de introducir acidez superficial producida por la sustitución en la red de algunos cationes T+4 à (normalmente Si+4 à) por cationes T+3 à (normalmente Al+3 à), lo que da lugar a una deficienca de carga estructural que puede ser compesenda por protones, acidez Brönsted, y/o cationes de alta relación carga-radio, acidez Lewis. El método de preparación se basa en la modificación de la estructura laminar de un óxido mixto (normalmente SiO2 , Al2 O3 ) sintetizado a partir de un gel tratado en condiciones hidrotermales controladas, intercalando entre sus láminas moléculas orgánicas que poseen un grupo aceptor de protones y una larga cadena hidrocarbonada. El material intercalado posee las láminas muy separadas entre sí debido a la presencia entre ellas de las cadenas orgánicas. El material hinchado se trata entonces para separar y dispersar las láminas. El lavado final y su posterior caclinácíon da lugar a un material microporoso con alta superficie externa objeto de esta invención.
