Abstract
Dispositivo de pretratamiento para proporcionar un tocho metálico tixotrópico (10) en una cámara de colada (30) de una instalación de tixomoldeo, que contiene un recipiente destinado a recibir un tocho metálico (10) que contiene partículas sólidas primariamente solidificadas y homogéneamente distribuidas procedentes de dendritas degeneradas individuales, un horno (20) separado en el espacio de la instalación de tixomoldeo para transferir el tocho metálico (10) situado en el recipiente a un estado tixotrópico parcialmente líquido, y un dispositivo de transporte para transportar e introducir el tocho metálico tixotrópico (10) en la cámara de colada (30), caracterizado porque el recipiente constituye un tubo de calentamiento (14) de forma cilíndrica que puede ser cerrado lateralmente por medio de elementos de cierre (16, 18) en forma de tapón o de tarugo, estando configurados los elementos de cierre (16, 18) de tal manera que éstos, cuando el tubo de calentamiento (14) haya sido extraído del horno (20), puedan ser retirados antes de introducir el tubo de calentamiento (14) en la cámara de colada (30), y eligiéndose el diámetro interior dR del tubo de calentamiento (14) en función del diámetro dB del tocho de tal manera que el tocho metálico (10) presente a su temperatura de solidus Tsolidus sustancialmente el mismo diámetro dB que el diámetro interior dR del tubo de calentamiento (14), y estando configurado el dispositivo de pretratamiento de tal manera que el tocho metálico (10) pueda permanecer en el tubo de calentamiento (14) durante todo el pretratamiento, es decir, el proceso de calentamiento en el horno (20) y el transporte a la cámara de colada (30) y la estancia en la cámara de colada (30) hasta el comienzo del proceso de tixomoldeo.
