Abstract

Un procedimiento para producir artículos de espuma estructural termoplástica, comprendiendo dicho procedimiento la expansión de un gas de una composición de una resina termoplástica fundida, que comprende al menos una resina termoplástica espumable seleccionada a partir del grupo que consta de mezclas de resinas de policarbonatos aromáticos con copolímeros de injerto vinil-aromáticos modificados con caucho, y mezclas de resinas de poli(etilenéter) con resinas de poliestireno y una cantidad de un agente de nucleación poliolefínico no elastomérico para mejorar la uniformidad de la estructura celular de la espuma estructural, en el que dicho agente de nucleación poliolefínico está presente en un nivel de un 0, 1 por ciento a un 5 por ciento en peso, en base al peso total de la composición.
