Abstract

Procedimiento para depositar recubrimientos de metales y óxidos metálicos. El procedimiento permite producir recubrimientos metálicos y de óxidos metálicos a partir de soluciones precursoras, como ocurre en la técnica denominada sol-gel, pero con la ventaja de que las soluciones precursoras no incorporan alcóxidos metálicos a hidrolizar, por lo que su estabilidad a lo largo del tiempo es excelente. Las soluciones precursoras de los recubrimientos se preparan disolviendo en etanol una sal del metal, con un agente complejante para favorecer su estabilidad y/o un aditivo para dotar a la solución de las propiedades necesarias para depositarlo homogéneamente sobre un sustrato. Las soluciones precursoras, se depositan por extracción del sustrato a velocidad constante, centrifugación o pulverización, se secan a temperaturas entre 50 y 150ºC y se densifican mediante un tratamiento térmico a temperaturas entre 300 y 600ºC, con un tiempo variable entre 10 a 60 minutos.
