Abstract
El sistema consiste en utilizar, como medio de aportación de aire a presión a los cilindros (1) del motor, a través de la correspondiente conducción (6) y de las válvulas de admisión (5), un compresor (13) accionado por un motor eléctrico (14), de velocidad variable, de manera que la velocidad de giro del compresor (13) y consecuentemente el caudal de aire suministrado a los cilindros (1) varíe paralela y simultáneamente al caudal de combustible suministrado por la bomba de inyección (10), para conseguir una respuesta instantánea del motor en el accionamiento del acelerador. Esto se consigue merced a que el mando (11) del acelerador actúa simultáneamente sobre la bomba de inyección (10) y sobre un reóstato (16) que es el que controla el motor (14) del compresor (13).The system consists of using, as a means of supplying pressurized air to the cylinders (1) of the engine, through the corresponding conduction (6) and the intake valves (5), a compressor (13) driven by a electric motor (14), of variable speed, so that the speed of rotation of the compressor (13) and consequently the flow of air supplied to the cylinders (1) varies parallel and simultaneously to the flow of fuel supplied by the injection pump ( 10), to achieve an instant response of the engine in the throttle drive.
