Abstract

Compuestos altamente conductores del polímero conductor intrínseco polipirrol para fines industriales, preferentemente para realización de baterías eléctricas y procedimiento de preparación de dichos compuestos por polimerización química oxidativa de pirrol en agua caracterizado por el empleo de aditivos promotores de la conductividad y de la estabilidad del material resultante, que comprende la adición, en una o varias veces y bajo agitación fuerte, del pirrol a una disolución acuosa que contiene uno, o más, agentes oxidantes y uno, o más, aditivos promotores de la conductividad y de la estabilidad. Dicho procedimiento permite obtener compuestos de polipirrol de conductividad eléctrica superior a 250 S/cm, con rendimientos de reacción cercanos al 100 % y tiempos de reacción inferiores a 1 h. Así mismo, permite conseguir compuestos de polipirrol que conservan su conductividad eléctrica tras prolongados tiempos a elevadas temperaturas.
