Persiana apilable, caracterizada por la previsión en el muro de un nicho cerrado situado en la parte superior de una puerta o ventana provistas de las guías correspondientes, con la particularidad esencial de haber sido arbitrados en los laterales de dicho nicho sendo soportes en los que apoyan los extremos de un eje prismático de sección poligonal y preferentemente cuadrada, sobre cuyas caras por simple superposición las lamas de la persiana; determinando la sección poligonal del mencionado eje el arrastre de la persiana al girar el eje en el movimiento de ascensión de esta última, que dando las lamas depositadas plegadas formando un paquete compacto en el interior del nicho.
