Fijación para esquis, tal como un tope delantero o posterior, comportando una contera, una mordaza o cualquier otra superficie de apoyo destinada a recibir el extremo corres pendiente de la suela o del vástago de una bota de esquí, cuya fijación se caracteriza porque la superficie considerada presentando un estrangulamiento del lado opuesto a la bota de esquí, y en cada uno de los cuales está fijado, por enganche elástico, una o varias guarniciones de deslizamiento en politetrafluoretileno u otro material que presente escaso coeficiente de roce, constituida por una pieza teniendo una forma adecuada para encajar con la del elemento saliente correspondiente, de manera que sus bordes se enganchan en las gargantas o ranuras existentes en el lugar de estrangulamiento de este último.
