Abstract
Procedimiento para controlar la posición de los bordes de una cinta de película, que es alimentada con ayuda de una cuña de guía a una tolva de conformar de un dispositivo para fabricar cuerpos tubulares a partir de la cinta de película con una costura de solapamiento, siendo luego soldada, caracterizado por el hecho de que después de la soldadura, un sensor infrarrojo de líneas (19) permite medir un perfil de temperaturas transversalmente a la costura solapada (13), siendo valorado y en caso de variaciones del perfil real emitir una señal para hacer girar la tolva de conformar (5) con el canal de guía (11).
Description
Procedimiento para controlar la posición de los
bordes de una cinta de película.
El invento hace referencia a un procedimiento
para controlar la posición de los bordes de una cinta de película,
que se alimenta con ayuda de una cuña de guía a una tolva de
conformar de un dispositivo para fabricar cuerpos tubulares a partir
de la cinta de película, formando una costura solapada que luego se
suelda.
En el mismo, la cinta de película, que primero se
encuentra plana en la tolva de conformar, se convierte en un tubo
sin fin, de manera que los respectivos bordes de la cinta formen una
costura solapada al ser conducidos uno sobre otro, por medio de una
cuña de guía, en posición de formación de tubo. Los bordes laterales
solapados se sueldan aportando el efecto de calor y, en determinados
casos presión, a fin de formar un tubo sólido, para luego ser
cortado a trozos a fin de llevarlos a otra fase de trabajo. Como
cintas de película se utilizan laminados, dispuestos entre dos capas
exteriores de plástico, en ciertos casos también con otras capas de
plástico interpuestas, si es necesario con capas adhesivas, para
forman una capa barrera central inhibidora de difusión, que por
ejemplo puede estar hecha a modo de una lámina de aluminio. Esta
clase de láminas de aluminio tiene espesores de capa comprendidas
entre 0,01 y 0,04 mm, y a veces también superiores. Para soldar se
genera calor en la capa de aluminio, por ejemplo mediante un
inductor HF de alta frecuencia. En tal caso, el solapamiento
habitual de los cantos laterales del laminado es de 2 a 5 mm, en
casos excepcionales también puede tener menor o mayor tamaño.
Se conoce un dispositivo de esta clase a través
de la patente DE-C2-3.739.400. En
lugar, o además de la tolva de conformar, también se puede obtener
la forma tubular mediante cintas de accionamiento externas y, a
veces, internas, en cuyo caso también puede usarse una bobina de
inducción.
Para concentrar las líneas de campo también
pueden preverse en los cuerpos de bobina un núcleo de ferrita, de
modo que se limita espacialmente el calor de inducción y puede
transferirse con más intensidad. Normalmente, con ayuda de la lámina
central de aluminio, se calientan las capas de plástico que lo
circundan por encima del punto de fusión, uniéndose entre sí, y en
ciertos casos bajo presión, cerrándose en forma de costura, mientras
que en determinados casos también se conforman, para finalmente ser
enfriadas, por ejemplo mediante rodillos de refrigeración externos,
y a veces también internos, con ayuda de los cuales también es
posible el prensado para conseguir una costura soldada duradera y
conformada.
Usualmente se fabrican cintas de película
laminar, por ejemplo para la fabricación de tubos laminados, de
aproximadamente unos 1,2 metros de ancho, en los denominados
laminadores y luego se enrollan en una bobinadora para formar rollos
matriz. A partir de dichos rollos matriz pueden fabricarse varios
rollos individuales, con ayuda de una máquina cortadora de tiras en
función de los diámetros de cuerpos tubulares deseados, con el ancho
apropiado para el diámetro de los tubos requeridos. De este modo, a
todo lo ancho del rollo matriz se obtienen varios rollos
individuales paralelos cada uno de ellos con diferentes propiedades.
De modo especial con respecto a la distribución de tensiones que
aparecen en cada rollo individual - en parte con notables
diferencias que al formar el tubo y/o en la unidad de soldadura
conducen a situaciones inestables. Puede observarse una oscilación
lateral o también un denominado desplazamiento o desvío de la zona
de solapamiento de las cintas de película. Todo esto - especialmente
el desplazamiento - conduce a grandes cambios en la transferencia de
energía en la zona de solapamiento, por lo cual resulta sumamente
difícil mantener una costura de solapamiento estable, de manera que
es necesaria una activa vigilancia por parte del personal de
servicio y un frecuente reajuste de la tolva de conformar con la
cuña de centrado, siempre y cuando quieran evitarse producciones
defectuosas.
Debido al con frecuencia muy reducido espesor de
las cintas de película, sus bordes son tan inestables, de manera que
no pueden utilizarse medios de detección mecánicos. También se han
manifestado problemáticos los detectores de fluido, con los cuales
se dirige un fino chorro de aire sobre los bordes de solapamiento,
de manera que los cambios en la distancia existente entre la tobera
de aire y el objeto se manifiestan por cambios de presión en la
tobera, los cuales pueden utilizarse para controlar la entrada de la
película.
Debido a los relativamente altos campos alternos
de alta frecuencia que suelen utilizarse en la soldadura, no pueden
emplearse sensores eléctricos para procedimientos de medición
inductivos o capacitativos. Como consecuencia de la gran cantidad de
colores de las películas a elaborar y/o en ciertos casos debido a la
presencia de diversas imágenes impresas, también resulta
problemático el empleo de medios de detección ópticos, como por
ejemplo cámaras CCD.
El objeto del invento es indicar un procedimiento
para controlar la posición de los bordes de una cinta de película
con las características del preámbulo de la reivindicación 1, el
cual permita un control automático mediante la vigilancia sin
sensores de la posición de la costura de solapamiento, de modo que
pueda prescindirse de una vigilancia y gobierno personal para evitar
desechos.
Dicho objeto se consigue mediante las
particularidades que figuran en la parte característica de la
reivindicación 1.
A continuación se describirá con más detalle el
invento con ayuda de un ejemplo de forma de realización, haciendo
referencia a los dibujos. En los mismos:
La figura 1 muestra esquemáticamente un
dispositivo para la fabricación de secciones de cuerpos tubulares a
partir de una cinta de película;
La figura 2 muestra una sección ampliada del
dispositivo con una tolva de conformar, una instalación de soldadura
y un sensor de líneas;
La figura 3 es igual como la figura 2, pero vista
desde encima (es decir girado 90º con respecto a la figura 2);
La figura 4 muestra una vista en planta, en
sentido axial a la entrada de la tolva de conformar, parcialmente
cortada, según la línea A-A de la figura 1;
La figura 5 muestra una sección parcial a través
de la instalación de soldadura, según la línea B-B
de la figura 1; y
La figura 6 es un esquema del acoplamiento de una
imagen detectada a través de un sensor IR de líneas de una
temperatura de solapamiento concreta con una unidad de valoración y
una unidad de control para girar la tolva de conformar.
El dispositivo, representado en la figura 1, para
la fabricación de secciones de cuerpos tubulares 1 tiene un rollo
individual (no representado) con una película en forma de cinta, por
ejemplo una película laminar 2, que por lo menos contiene una capa
barrera, por ejemplo de aluminio, incorporada entre dos capas
exteriores de plástico. La película laminar 2, alimentada plana, se
dispone alrededor de un mandril de soldadura 3, que va fijado en una
suspensión 4 situada todavía en la zona de la película laminar plana
2, por medio de una tolva de conformar 5 para fabricar un tubo sin
fin 8 con los bordes 7, 7' solapados.
La tolva de conformar 5 va dispuesta giratoria en
un soporte realizado como casquillo 8. Hay un motor 9 conectado, a
través de un mecanismo de engranaje helicoidales 10 compuesto por
rueda 10' y tornillo sin fin 10'', con la tolva de conformar 5 para
hacerla girar alrededor de su eje central. Dentro de la tolva de
conformar 5 va dispuesta una cuña de guía 11, mediante la cual se
guían ambos bordes 7, 7' de la película laminar a alimentar 2 en una
posición solapada uno sobre otro. La zona de solapamiento de los
bordes 7, 7' de la cinta de película 2 representa del orden de 2 a 5
mm, aproximadamente. En caso especial el solapamiento también puede
ser mayor o menor, pero sin embargo debe ser lo bastante grande en
función del diámetro deseado para el tubo sin fin 6 formado, y para
poder conseguir, en la siguiente instalación de soldadura 12, una
costura de solapamiento 13 suficientemente fuerte.
La instalación de soldadura 12, representada
esquemáticamente de modo especial en la figura 5, consta, en el
ejemplo mostrado, de una instalación de soldadura de alta frecuencia
(HF) con una carcasa 14, en la cual va dispuesta al costado del
mandril de soldadura 3 un cuerpo de bobinas 15, en determinados
casos con otros arrollamientos de bobina 16. En el cuerpo de bobinas
15, en ciertos casos también dentro de los otros arrollamientos de
bobina 16, se encuentra un núcleo de ferrita 17.
En las figuras 1, 2 y 5 se indican conductores
eléctricos 18, mediante los cuales se alimenta la corriente para el
funcionamiento de la instalación de soldadura 12.
En el mandril de soldadura 3 hay otro núcleo de
ferrita 17' colocado en el redondeado superior con respecto al
núcleo de ferrita 17 de la bobina de soldar. Dados los núcleos de
ferrita 17, 17' es posible soldar únicamente una estrecha zona
limitada esencialmente a la propia costura solapada 13 de las
respectivas capas de plástico del folio laminar 2, a través de las
capas de aluminio, en los bordes 7, 7' que se solapan.
Inmediatamente después de la instalación de
soldar 12 hay un sensor eléctrico infrarrojo de líneas 19, que capta
una imagen de la evolución de las temperaturas dentro de la zona
fundida de la costura solapada 13, transversalmente a la extensión
longitudinal del tubo sin fin 6. Sobre el sensor IR de líneas 19 se
encuentra un rodillo 20, que puede estar dispuesto en el mandril de
soldar 3 o en un respectivo rodillo opuesto 21, que sirven como
rodillos de refrigeración y/o de presión o conformación. También
pueden preverse otros rodillos 20 y contrarrodillos 21, mediante los
cuales puede conformarse la costura de solapamiento 13 y, en ciertos
casos, al mismo tiempo, aplicarse una refrigeración adicional. El
número de rodillos 20 y, en determinados casos de contrarrodillos
21, puede variar a voluntad y adaptarse a las correspondientes
necesidades de conformación y refrigeración.
El tubo sin fin 6, que sale con una sólida
costura de solapamiento 13 del mandril de soldar 3, es conducido a
una instalación de corte 22 o a un dispositivo de recortar. En este
ejemplo de forma de realización se ha previsto una ya conocida
cortadora transversal, mediante la cual pueden cortarse las deseadas
longitudes de las secciones de cuerpo tubular 1 fabricadas, que
ahora pueden ser alimentadas por medio de una cinta transportadora
23 a una posterior elaboración (no representada), por ejemplo para
la colocación de un apoyo tubular con tapón de cierre.
En el mandril de soldar 3 también pueden existir
orificios 24 para alimentar un medio refrigerante, por ejemplo
agua.
El perfil de temperatura, proporcionado por el
sensor infrarrojo de líneas 19, de la costura solapada 13 aún
prácticamente en fusión, se introduce en una unidad de valoración
25. Mediante el aparato indicador del valor nominal 26 se obtiene un
perfil de temperatura en función del producto deseado. Con ayuda de
un aparato IR de análisis 27 se compara, a determinados intervalos
de tiempo, por ejemplo cada dos segundos, el perfil real
proporcionado por el sensor IR de líneas 19 con el perfil nominal
predeterminado y se establecen las correspondientes variaciones, por
ejemplo e_{1} y e_{2}, respectivamente. Un convertidor de señal
28 transforma las correspondientes señales del valor desviado, por
ejemplo e_{1} y e_{2}, en una señal apropiada para el motor 9,
en cuyo caso un amplificador 29 también puede amplificar la señal.
Gracias a la señal, el motor 9 gira la tolva de conformar 5 a través
del mecanismo de engranajes helicoidales 10, y por tanto también la
cuña de guía 11 conectada al mismo, en un sentido hasta compensar o
igualar la diferencia e_{1} y e_{2}, y conseguir que el perfil
nominal coincida exactamente con el perfil real medido por el sensor
IR de líneas 19.
Con esta maniobra se varía la entrada de la cinta
de la película laminar 2 y con ello el solapamiento de los bordes de
película 7, 7' de las respectivas películas laminares 2, de manera
que se compensan prácticamente de forma automática las eventuales
diferencias de la sección transversal o de la longitud de cada rollo
individual de una película laminar 2 en el tiempo más corto posible
- en la práctica de forma inmediata. Así se evitan con seguridad
las costuras solapadas defectuosas 13, y por tanto los desechos, lo
más rápidamente posible.
Claims (3)
1. Procedimiento para controlar la posición de
los bordes de una cinta de película, que es alimentada con ayuda de
una cuña de guía a una tolva de conformar de un dispositivo para
fabricar cuerpos tubulares a partir de la cinta de película con una
costura de solapamiento, siendo luego soldada, caracterizado
por el hecho de que después de la soldadura, un sensor infrarrojo de
líneas (19) permite medir un perfil de temperaturas transversalmente
a la costura solapada (13), siendo valorado y en caso de variaciones
del perfil real emitir una señal para hacer girar la tolva de
conformar (5) con el canal de guía (11).
2. Procedimiento de acuerdo con la reivindicación
1, caracterizado por el hecho de que la soldadura se realiza
por alta frecuencia (HF).
3. Procedimiento de acuerdo con la reivindicación
1 ó 2, caracterizado por el hecho de que se mide el perfil de
temperatura inmediatamente después de la soldadura.
