Abstract

Aparato (1) para la esterilización de productos (9) transportados en un palet y para la pasteurización de productos alimenticios (9) transportados en un palet mediante irradiación, que comprende: - una fuente de haz (3) para producir un haz de radiación; - una pared protectora (4) que rodea una cámara de irradiación (2); - una puerta cilíndrica giratoria (6) provista de por lo menos un rebaje (8) para albergar dicho palet, para introducir y extraer dicho palet de la cámara de irradiación (2); en el que dicho aparato comprende: - unos medios para dirigir dicho haz de radiación de alta energía hacia una parte lateral de dicha puerta giratoria (6).
