Abstract
Catalizador para la purificación de gases de escape procedentes de un motor de combustión interna, que comprende un revestimiento activo catalíticamente sobre un cuerpo alveolar cerámico o metálico inerte, comprendiendo dicho revestimiento por lo menos un metal del grupo del platino, seleccionado entre el conjunto que consiste en platino, paladio, rodio e iridio, sobre un material de soporte oxídico fino, en el que el material de soporte oxídico es un material con baja porosidad sobre la base de dióxido de silicio y comprende unos aglomerados de partículas primarias esencialmente esféricas, que tienen un diámetro medio de partículas comprendido entre 7 y 60 nm.Catalyst for the purification of exhaust gases from an internal combustion engine, comprising a catalytically active coating on an inert ceramic or metallic cellular body, said coating comprising at least one platinum group metal, selected from the set consisting in platinum, palladium, rhodium and iridium, on a thin oxidic support material, in which the oxidic support material is a low porosity material based on silicon dioxide and comprises agglomerates of essentially spherical primary particles, which have an average particle diameter between 7 and 60 nm.
