Abstract

Utilización de una cantidad terapéuticamente eficaz de una composición que contiene una proteína FRIL que comprende la secuencia de aminoácidos presentada en la SEC ID nº 6 para la preparación de un medicamento destinado al tratamiento de un estado caracterizada por la actividad deplecionadora de las células progenitoras hematopoyéticas de un tratamiento quimioterapéutico o radioterapéutico o una combinación de un tratamiento quimioterapéutico y radioterapéutico, en la que la cantidad terapéuticamente eficaz de dicha composición alivia o reduce la actividad deplecionadora de las células progenitoras hematopoyéticas de dicho tratamiento en el paciente y en la que el medicamento se debe administrar antes del tratamiento radioterapéutico o quimioterapéutico; en la que el medicamento se debe administrar aproximadamente entre 5 días y aproximadamente 2 horas antes del tratamiento quimioterapéutico o radioterapéutico y se debe administrar diariamente.
