Abstract

Un procedimiento para la fabricación de fluoruros amónicos, que comprende absorber gases que contiene fluor contaminados con fostatos en un medio acuoso hacer reaccionar la solución acuosa con amoniaco en condiciones para mantener un pH alcalino que no exceda de alrededor de 9 hasta completar sustancialmente la hidrólisis de los fluosilicatos, separar los sólidos con amoniaco en condiciones para mantener una concentración de amoniaco libre mayor que aproximadamente el 1% para precipitar fosfato amónico, y recuperar por separado los fosfatos amónicos y los cloruros amónicos.
