Abstract

Procedimiento para moldear y vulcanizar cubiertas neumáticas, caracterizado porque éstas tienen primitivamente una forma practicamente cilíndrica terminada en un par de rebordes o talones circulares, y porque dicho procedimiento comprende el ejercer presión sobre los talones para aplastar o deformar la cubierta axialmente y en aplicar simultáneamente fluido a presión en el interior de la cubierta para dilatar ésta radialmente a la forma toroidal y permitir que los talones de la cubierta puedan girar libremente, en la práctica, durante toda la etapa de deformación de la cubierta, y sujetando luego positivamente los talones y superficies rígidas de moldeo, y dilatando la cubierta contra las superficies de moldeo, aplicando en el interior de dicha cubierta un fluido comprimido y calentado.
