Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en los aparatos para determinar la dirección de un origen de ondas de energía, caracterizados por comprender un transductor direccional dependiente de las ondas de energía que en él chocan, para producir un potencial eléctrico de salida; medios para hacer girar sucesivamente el transductor por etapas, entre una serie de posiciones direccionales distintas y predeterminadas, y para retenerlo en cada una de ellas,para la recepción selectiva de ondas de energía que se aproximan desde unas serie de direcciones diferentes; un osciloscopio de rayos catódicos dotado de un medio de desviación del rayo en cualquiera de varias direcciones distintas que corresponden a las mencionadas posiciones diferentes del transductor; un generador de potencial; medios demoduladores que comprenden un mecanismo conmutador que posee una serie de posiciones diferentes correspondientes a las mencionadas posiciones distintas, para derivar selectivamente potenciales de desviación del generador citado y para aplicarlos a los medios de desviación del rayo, de los distintos modos indicados; medios para accionar el mecanismo conmutador en fase con la rotación del transductor; y medios de control del rayo, dependientes del potencial de salida del transductor, para variar la intensidad del rayo o haz en respuesta a las ondas de energía recibidas.
