Abstract

Método de soldeo de dos paredes de un recipiente de película de material plástico (1, 2) sobre un tubo de material plástico (3) que tiene una sección transversal sustancialmente circular, en donde el tubo de material plástico (3) se dispone entre dos películas de material plástico dispuestas de forma paralela (1, 2), haciendo que las dos películas de material plástico (1, 2) se extiendan a lo largo de la superficie exterior del tubo de material plástico (3) y se unan a tope entre sí a lo largo de una cara de unión (7) entre dos mordazas de soldeo (5, 6) en una zona (8) adyacente al tubo de material plástico (3), y en donde las películas de material plástico (1, 2) son soldadas por medio de las mordazas de soldeo (5, 6) sobre la cara exterior del tubo de material plástico (3) y soldadas de forma conjunta en la zona (8) adyacente al tubo de material plástico (3), en donde el tubo de material plástico (3) se deforma elásticamente durante el soldeo por medio de una fuerza de compresión aplicadapor las mordazas de soldeo (5, 6) para proporcionar la superficie exterior del tubo de material plástico (3) con dos porciones planas diametralmente opuestas (9) que se extienden cada una de ellas sobre ambos lados de la cara de unión (7) y de un modo sustancialmente perpendicular a la misma, en donde se utilizan dos mordazas de soldeo (5, 6) adaptadas para encerrar el tubo de material plástico (3) y las películas de material plástico (1, 2) cuando aquellas son cerradas, teniendo cada mordaza de soldeo (5, 6), según una vista en sección transversal, una zona de soldeo curvada (11), caracterizado porque, en una vista en sección transversal, cada mordaza de soldeo (5, 6) tiene una porción de soldeo sustancialmente lineal (10) que se extiende de un modo sustancialmente perpendicular a la cara de unión (7) entre la cara de unión (7) y cada extremo de la zona de soldeo curvada (11).

Description

Soldeo de un tubo.
Campo técnico
La invención se refiere a un método de acuerdo con el preámbulo de la reivindicación 1 y a un aparato de acuerdo con el preámbulo de la reivindicación 3.
Las bolsas de drenaje tales como bolsas de orina, bolsas de sangre y similares están constituidas normalmente por dos películas superpuestas de material plástico las cuales son soldadas entre sí a lo largo de su periferia. Para proporcionar en la bolsa un canal de salida es usual soldar un tubo de material plástico entre las dos películas de material plástico para aportar comunicación por vía del tubo entre el interior y el exterior de la bolsa. De este modo, una de las películas de material plástico es soldada sobre una mitad de la periferia del tubo de material plástico y la otra película de material plástico es soldada sobre la otra mitad de la periferia del tubo de material plástico. Las dos películas de material plástico son soldadas entre sí sobre ambos lados del tubo. Sin embargo, opcionalmente, las películas pueden ser soldadas únicamente al tubo en las zonas de transición en cada uno de los lados del tubo, siendo depositadas las películas de forma estanca sobre la periferia del tubo para evitar fugas. Opcionalmente, se puede proporcionar un adhesivo entre las películas y la periferia del tubo.
En la práctica, se ha comprobado que resulta difícil obtener una conexión estanca a los líquidos entre la cara exterior del tubo de material plástico y las películas de material plástico en las dos zonas de transición en donde se juntan la cara exterior del tubo de material plástico y las dos películas de material plástico. Incluso aunque se utilicen dos mordazas de soldeo, cada una de las cuales tiene, según una vista en sección transversal, una configuración semi-circular y de forma conjunta, en posición cerrada, definen una abertura circular correspondiente al diámetro externo del tubo, suelen surgir fugas en las zonas mencionadas.
Estado de la técnica
Por la GB 2193485A ya se conoce el hecho de insertar un manguito de refuerzo en el tubo de material plástico en el punto de soldadura para evitar la deformación del tubo de material plástico durante el soldeo. La US 4.126.167 describe el uso de una disposición de boquilla con partes en forma de cuña en lugar de un tubo de material plástico con una sección transversal circular, extendiéndose dichas partes en forma de cuña entre las paredes de la bolsa para impedir una transición brusca entre las películas de material plástico y la disposición de boquilla. Por la EP 0269419 A1 ya se conoce el hecho de disponer una boquilla sobre la cara exterior del tubo de material plástico y las películas de material plástico para asegurar una junta estanca a los líquidos entre el tubo y la bolsa.
La DE 19752648 C1 describe el pre-calentamiento del tubo de material plástico antes de ser soldado junto con las películas de material plástico para probar la soldadura en las zonas de transición críticas. La misma describe un método de acuerdo con el preámbulo de la reivindicación 1 y un aparato de acuerdo con el preámbulo de la reivindicación 3.
Por la EP 0491380 A2 es conocido el hecho de disponer piezas conformadas de un material conductor del calor alrededor del tubo de material plástico y películas de material plástico durante el proceso de soldeo y separar las piezas conformadas del tubo de material plástico y películas de material plástico únicamente después de enfriarse las zonas soldadas.
La US 4.023.607 describe un método de soldeo de dos películas de material plástico sobre un tubo de material plástico que tiene una sección transversal circular por medio de dos mordazas de soldeo que definen una abertura con una sección transversal no circular.
Descripción de la invención
El objeto de la invención consiste en proporcionar un método nuevo y simple de soldeo de un tubo de material plástico entre dos paredes de un recipiente de película de material plástico, con el fin de obtener una soldadura estanca a los líquidos. De acuerdo con la invención, este objeto se consigue por el método establecido en la introducción de esta descripción y que se caracteriza porque, según una vista en sección transversal, cada mordaza de soldeo tiene una porción de soldeo sustancialmente lineal que se extiende de un modo sustancialmente perpendicular a la cara de unión entre la cara de unión y cada extremo de la zona de soldeo curvada. A través de este simple medio ha sido posible, de manera sorprendente, obtener soldaduras muy fiables en las zonas críticas, en donde en lugar de soldar una de las películas de material plástico de forma conjunta con la otra película de material plástico, aquella es soldada sobre el tubo de plástico.
De acuerdo con una modalidad, la zona de soldeo curvada de las mordazas de soldeo se puede proporcionar con un radio de curvatura que excede ligeramente del diámetro exterior del tubo de material plástico y además presenta unas dimensiones tales que, durante el cierre de las mordazas de soldeo, las porciones del tubo de material plástico son presionadas hacia el exterior contra las porciones de soldeo lineales de las mordazas de soldeo. Como resultado, se obtiene así una conexión de soldeo fiable en las zonas críticas, comprimiéndose adicionalmente las películas de material plástico y el tubo de material plástico durante el soldeo.
La invención se refiere además a un aparato como se ha establecido en la parte introductoria de la descripción. El aparato de acuerdo con la invención se caracteriza porque, según una vista en sección transversal, cada mordaza de soldeo presenta una zona de soldeo curvada y una porción de soldeo sustancialmente lineal que se extiende de un modo sustancialmente perpendicular a la cara de unión de las mordazas de soldeo entre la cara de unión y uno de los extremos de la zona de soldeo curvada.
Incluso aunque normalmente es preferible disponer el tubo de material plástico entre dos paredes del recipiente de película de material plástico de manera que se extiende una costura de sellado entre las dos capas de material plástico en ambos lados del tubo de material plástico, el tubo de material plástico puede también, sin embargo, disponerse en un borde del recipiente, de modo que la misma película de material plástico se extiende en 360º alrededor del tubo de material plástico y de modo que únicamente se extiende una costura de sellado entre las dos capas de película de material plástico en uno de los lados del tubo de material plástico.
De acuerdo con una modalidad, las mordazas de soldeo incluyen cada una de ellas un hilo de resistencia que define la zona de soldeo curvada y la porción o porciones de soldeo lineales, estando adaptados dichos hilos de resistencia para unir entre sí el tubo de material plástico y las películas de material plástico mediante soldeo térmico por impulsos o soldeo térmico constante.
De acuerdo con una modalidad opcional, las mordazas de soldeo están configuradas como mordazas de soldeo ultrasónico o como mordazas de soldeo térmico constante.

Mejores modos de llevar a cabo la invención
La figura 1 es una vista en sección transversal a través de una porción de una bolsa de drenaje, por ejemplo una bolsa de orina, en donde un tubo de material plástico 3 está soldado entre dos películas de material plástico 1, 2, cada una de las cuales forma una pared de la bolsa y están selladas entre sí a lo largo de la periferia del exterior de la bolsa del tubo de material plástico 3.
En el método según la invención, las películas de material plástico 1, 2 son soldadas a por lo menos una porción de la periferia exterior del tubo de material plástico 3 y unidas en las zonas 8 que se unen a tope con el tubo de material plástico 3. Tradicionalmente, las zonas representadas por el número de referencia 4 en la figura 1 resultan particularmente críticas dado que surgen cavidades triangulares en las mismas, cuando las películas de material plástico 1, 2 se colocan alrededor del tubo de material plástico 3, cuyas cavidades han de ser rellenadas mediante material fundido para evitar fugas. Incluso aunque el soldeo se efectúe cuidadosamente para que no se presenten fugas en los puntos 4, dichas fugas pueden presentarse en una fase posterior. Esto último puede ocurrir, por ejemplo, en el caso de que la bolsa se manipule y se someta a tensión mecánica antes de que la soldadura se haya enfriado lo suficiente o en el caso de que las películas de material plástico sean forzadas en un alto grado, con lo que surgen concentraciones de tensión en los puntos 4, de manera que las películas de material plástico 1, 2 pueden llegar a soltarse del tubo de material plástico 3, surgiendo así fugas.
La figura 2 ilustra un primer aparato para llevar a cabo el método según la invención. El aparato es un aparato de soldeo ultrasónico con dos mordazas de soldeo 5, 6 que se unen a tope entre sí en una cara de unión 7 en el estado cerrado ilustrado. En una vista en sección transversal, cada mordaza de soldeo 5, 6 tiene una zona curvada 11 y dos porciones sustancialmente lineales 10 que se extienden entre los extremos de la zona curvada 11 y la cara de unión 7. Las zonas curvadas 11 corresponden sustancialmente a la periferia del tubo de material plástico 3, que ha de ser soldado junto con las películas de material plástico 1, 2. Sin embargo, las zonas curvadas pueden tener un radio de curvatura que excede ligeramente de aquel del tubo de material plástico 3 por motivos que se explicarán a continuación con mayor detalle.
La figura 3 ilustra el aparato mostrado en la figura 2 durante un proceso de soldeo, en donde un tubo de material plástico 3 es soldado junto con dos películas de material plástico 1, 2 y en donde las películas de material plástico 1, 2 son soldadas entre sí en la zona situada en el exterior del tubo de material plástico 3. Como puede apreciarse en la figura 3, el tubo de material plástico 3 se deforma cuando queda encerrado por las mordazas de soldeo 5, 6, con lo que el tubo de material plástico 3 se proporciona con dos porciones planas 9 que se extienden en una corta distancia en cada lado de la cara de unión 7 y perpendicularmente a la misma. Cuando las mordazas de soldeo 5, 6 son cerradas alrededor del tubo de material plástico 3 y películas de material plástico 1, 2, como se ilustra en la figura 3, el material plástico es sometido a ondas de presión por vía de las mordazas de soldeo 5, 6, de manera que se presenta un calentamiento en las uniones entre las películas de material plástico 1, 2 y el tubo de material plástico 3 y entre las dos películas de material plástico 1, 2, con lo cual se obtiene así una soldadura. Sin embargo, las mordazas de soldeo 5, 6 mostradas en las figuras 2 y 3 pueden estar configuradas también como mordazas de soldeo que sueldan con calor constante.
Mediante la deformación mostrada en la figura 3 del tubo de material plástico 3 con dos porciones planas 9 que se extienden de un modo sustancialmente perpendicular a la cara de unión 7, se obtiene, de manera sorprendente, una unión extremadamente estanca y fiable en las zonas críticas 4.
Después del soldeo, el tubo de material plástico 3 adopta su configuración circular original.
Como se ha mencionado anteriormente, las zonas curvadas 11 de las mordazas de soldeo pueden estar configuradas como arcos circulares con un radio ligeramente más grande que el radio exterior del tubo de material plástico 3. Se obtiene así una ligera compresión que proporciona una carga hacia el exterior sobre las porciones 9 del tubo de material plástico 3 situadas cerca de la cara de unión 7, lo cual a su vez asegura y mejora la soldadura en las zonas críticas 4.
La figura 4 ilustra una modalidad alternativa de un aparato según la invención. Por medio del aparato mostrado en la figura 4, las películas de material plástico 1, 2 son soldadas sobre la cara exterior del tubo de material plástico 3 mediante soldeo térmico por impulsos o soldeo térmico constante, comprendiendo cada una de las mordazas de soldeo 5, 6 un hilo de resistencia.
Los detalles ilustrados en las figuras son esquemáticos y han sido exageradas ciertas geometrías para exponer más claramente los principios de la invención. En la práctica, la sección transversal interior de las mordazas de soldeo 5, 6 de las figuras 2-4 presentan una configuración más "aplanada" para ejercer una fuerza ascendente y descendente sobre el tubo de material plástico, cuya fuerza presiona la superficie del tubo de material plástico 3 contra las porciones de soldeo lineales 10 de las mordazas de soldeo 5, 6.
El método y aparato según la invención hacen posible efectuar un soldeo completo entre las películas de material plástico 1, 2 y el tubo de material plástico 3 y entre las películas de material plástico 1, 2 en las zonas 8 que se unen a tope con el tubo de material plástico 3. En la práctica, sin embargo, es conveniente efectuar un soldeo previo, en donde las películas de material plástico se adhieren entre sí y al tubo de material plástico 3 para facilitar la manipulación del mismo antes del soldeo final.
Con el fin de no deteriorar las soldaduras previstas, el material plástico deberá dejarse enfriar antes de someterse a tensiones mecánicas.
También es posible extender una sola película de material plástico en 360º alrededor del tubo de material plástico y soldarla sobre sí misma. Como resultado, se obtiene una bolsa con el tubo de salida en una esquina. Se pueden emplear varios materiales plásticos para el tubo de material plástico 3 y películas de material plástico 1, 2, por ejemplo, PVC, polietileno o polipropileno.
Como película de material plástico, habitualmente se emplea PVC de un grosor de 0,1-0,3 mm. El tubo de material plástico 3 puede producirse normalmente a partir de PVC y tiene un diámetro exterior de 6-20 mm y un grosor de pared de 0,5-1 mm.

Claims (6)

1. Método de soldeo de dos paredes de un recipiente de película de material plástico (1, 2) sobre un tubo de material plástico (3) que tiene una sección transversal sustancialmente circular, en donde el tubo de material plástico (3) se dispone entre dos películas de material plástico dispuestas de forma paralela (1, 2), haciendo que las dos películas de material plástico (1, 2) se extiendan a lo largo de la superficie exterior del tubo de material plástico (3) y se unan a tope entre sí a lo largo de una cara de unión (7) entre dos mordazas de soldeo (5, 6) en una zona (8) adyacente al tubo de material plástico (3), y en donde las películas de material plástico (1, 2) son soldadas por medio de las mordazas de soldeo (5, 6) sobre la cara exterior del tubo de material plástico (3) y soldadas de forma conjunta en la zona (8) adyacente al tubo de material plástico (3), en donde el tubo de material plástico (3) se deforma elásticamente durante el soldeo por medio de una fuerza de compresión aplicada por las mordazas de soldeo (5, 6) para proporcionar la superficie exterior del tubo de material plástico (3) con dos porciones planas diametralmente opuestas (9) que se extienden cada una de ellas sobre ambos lados de la cara de unión (7) y de un modo sustancialmente perpendicular a la misma, en donde se utilizan dos mordazas de soldeo (5, 6) adaptadas para encerrar el tubo de material plástico (3) y las películas de material plástico (1, 2) cuando aquellas son cerradas, teniendo cada mordaza de soldeo (5, 6), según una vista en sección transversal, una zona de soldeo curvada (11), caracterizado porque, en una vista en sección transversal, cada mordaza de soldeo (5, 6) tiene una porción de soldeo sustancialmente lineal (10) que se extiende de un modo sustancialmente perpendicular a la cara de unión (7) entre la cara de unión (7) y cada extremo de la zona de soldeo curvada (11).
2. Método según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque la zona de soldeo curvada (11) de las mordazas de soldeo (5, 6) presenta un radio de curvatura que excede ligeramente del diámetro exterior del tubo de material plástico (3), estando además dimensionada para permitir que las porciones (9) del tubo de material plástico (3) sean presionadas hacia el exterior contra las porciones de soldeo lineales (10) de las mordazas de soldeo (5, 6) durante el cierre de las mordazas de soldeo (5, 6).
3. Aparato para soldar dos paredes de un recipiente de película de material plástico (1, 2) sobre un tubo de material plástico (3) que tiene una sección transversal sustancialmente circular, incluyendo dicho aparato dos mordazas de soldeo (5, 6) adaptadas para cerrarse alrededor del tubo de material plástico (3) y películas de material plástico (1, 2), con lo que se hace que las dos películas de material plástico (1, 2) se unan a tope entre sí a lo largo de una cara de unión (7) de las mordazas de soldeo (5, 6) en una zona (8) adyacente al tubo de material plástico (3), y en donde las mordazas de soldeo (5, 6) están adaptadas para soldar las películas de material plástico (1, 2) a la superficie exterior del tubo de material plástico (3) y para soldar entre sí las películas de material plástico (1, 2) en la zona (8) adyacente al tubo de material plástico (3), en donde, según una vista en sección transversal, cada mordaza de soldeo (5, 6) tiene una zona de soldeo curvada (11), caracterizado porque, en una vista en sección transversal, cada mordaza de soldeo (5, 6) tiene una porción de soldeo sustancialmente lineal (10) que se extiende de un modo sustancialmente perpendicular a la cara de unión (7) de las mordazas de soldeo (5, 6) entre la cara de unión (7) y un extremo de la zona de soldeo curvada (11).
4. Aparato según la reivindicación 3, caracterizado porque cada mordaza de soldeo (5, 6) tiene una porción de soldeo sustancialmente lineal (10) entre cada extremo de la zona de soldeo curvada (11) y la cara de unión (7).
5. Aparato según la reivindicación 3 o 4, caracterizado porque las mordazas de soldeo (5, 6) comprenden cada una de ellas un hilo de resistencia (12) que define la zona de soldeo curvada (11) y la porción o porciones de soldeo lineales (10), estando adaptado dicho hilo de resistencia (12) para soldar entre sí el tubo de material plástico (3) y las películas de material plástico (1, 2) con un soldeo térmico por impulsos o soldeo térmico constante.
6. Aparato según la reivindicación 3 o 4, caracterizado porque las mordazas de soldeo (5, 6) están configuradas como mordazas de soldeo ultrasónico o mordazas de soldeo térmico constante.
