Abstract

Perfeccionamiento de pulimentación por medio de bandas confeccionadas con fibras naturales o sintéticas, de cualquier naturaleza, que consiste esencialmente en formar un órgano de pulimentación constituido por bandas o cintas sin fin, tejidas sin costura y sin solución de continuidad, empleando para este tejido, hilos relativamente gruesos y resistentes obtenidos de fibras vegetales, animales, minerales u otras fibras naturales o sintéticas, y disponer dicha banda entre dos poleas giratorias con medios para graduar la tensión de la mismas, quedando los hilos unidos entre si mediante un ligamento compacto y relativamente grueso, que orma una cara externa del tejido susceptible de ser aplicada sobre la superficie del objeto que se desea pulir.
