Abstract
Process for obtaining glytrimimides, which are of α-( p-amino-phenyl) - α -alkyl-glutarimides of the formula: wherein r means the methyl or ethyl moiety: salts and their acylated derivatives by a low fatty acid residue in the amine group being characterized in that in a compound of the formula wherein r has the above meaning and x means a transformable substituent on the amino group is transformed from such and if desired the group free amino is acylated by a low fatty acid residue or the α- (pamino-phenyl) - α -alkyl glutaric acids or their functional derivatives or N-acyl compounds are cyclized in imides and if desired the glutarimides obtained by the group free amino is acylated with low fatty acids or in p-acylaminic compounds the acyl group is dissociated and if desired transform the bases obtained in their corresponding salts.
