Perfeccionamientos en el procedimiento para proteger superficies de metal y óxidos metálicos de ulterior corrosión, caracterizados porque a las superficies a tratar de artículos de hierro o acero contaminadas con orín y/o costra se les aplica una preparación conteniendo acetato de manganeso y ácido fosfórico y/o fosfato obteniéndose una preparación tal que reaccionará con el orín y/o costra par formar un gel de acetato de hierro conteniendo fosfatos de hierro y manganeso finamente divididos, siguiendo un secado de la superficie para formar una película, firmemente adherida, de fosfatos de hierro y manganeso.
