Abstract

Una máquina para lavar ropa, que siendo del tipo en que el removimiento del agua con la ropa en ella inmergida se logra mediante turbina, se caracterizada por constituirla un pié o zócalo que soporta a un recipiente cilíndrico de eje vertical y fondo ligeramente cónico, existiendo montado en el centro de éste un cojinete que sostiene con verticalidad al eje de una turbina formada por un plato circular profundamente perforado que tiene su superficie superior rigurosamente lisa y presenta en la inferior un conveniente número de aletas radiales, dándose la circunstancia de venir situado dicho plato, con horizontalidad, en la parte inferior central del recipiente teniendo su borde circular algo separado del fondo cónico de aquél, siendo tal turbina movida por un motor eléctrico bajo adecuadas transmisiones.
