Abstract

Procedimiento industrial para la conservación de un producto hortícola en vaina, caracterizado porque las vainas que se desean conservar se separan de la planta cuando se encuentran en su primera fase de desarrollo, es decir, cuando todavía no se han endurecido, procediéndose seguidamente a practicar en cada una de ellas sendos cortes que separarán del cuerpo de la vaina los extremos de la flor y el pezón, practicándose seguidamente un tercer corte transversal por el centro del cuerpo resultante, que dejará la vaina dividida en dos trozos iguales, los cuales serán convertidos en cuatro, por medio de corte longitudinales en cada una de las mitades citadas, consiguiéndose por medio de estos cortes, que los granos o semillas contenidas en el interior de la vaina queden al descubierto cortadas por su centro.
