Burlete, caracterizado esencialmente por el hecho de consistir en un perfil plano y rígido que por una de sus caras mayores está unido al canto de cierre de la puerta o ventana, o del marco, de cuyo perfil es solidaria una pestaña longitudinal elástica que sobresale de la otra cara mayor del perfil, el cual presenta por lo menos, una aleta longitudinal junto a la base de dicha pestaña.
