Abstract

Empaquetadura reajustable para prensaestopas, que trabaja asociada a una corredera plana, que incluye dos primeras empaquetaduras, dispuestas a un lado y a otro de las caras planas mayores de la corredera, así como dos segundas empaquetaduras, dispuestas lateralmente así como contra las caras menores de la corredera y ejerciendo un apriete sobre esta última; estando todas las empaquetaduras citadas dispuestas en el interior de una carcasa de empaquetadura dotada de una sección tranversal sensiblemente rectangular, y comportando un órgano de reajuste, al menos, con cuyo accionamiento se comprimen las empaquetaduras en dirección hacia la corredera, caracterizada porque en las caras traseras de las dos primeras empaquetaduras se disponen, intercaladas entre estas últimas y la carcasa, unas piezas cuneiformes escalonadas, las cuales son susceptibles de desplazarse en la dirección longitudinal de las empaquetaduras y trabajan juntamente con unas piezas cuneiformes estacionarias, conjugada.
