Abstract
Procedimiento de producción de fibras de vidrio mediante aportación de vidrio derretido al interior de un cuerpo rotatorio hueco y expulsión del vidrio por fuerza centrífuga a través de aberturas de la periferia del cuerpo, entrando luego el vidrio en contacto mas allá de dicha periferia con medios para estirar el vidrio en forma de fibras finas, caracterizado por la adición de calor a la zona de alrededor del cuerpo hueco giratorio mediante una fuente de caldeo que lo circunda, la fuente de caldeo que se encuentra fuera y alrededor de la periferia del cuerpo rotatorio.
