Abstract

Detector electrónico del contenido en oxigeno de los gases quemados de un motor térmico, que comprende dos electrodos dispuestos en la superficie de un cuerpo de cerámica porosa constituida por óxido de circonio estabilizado con óxido de itrio, con contenidos comprendidos entre 8 y 14%, caracterizado por el hecho de que se utiliza un electrodo conductor que no presenta actividad catalítica, de plata o de oro, y un electrodo catalítico constituido por un platino poroso, o mejor por platino rodiado a 20%, igualmente poroso, y de un grosor comprendido entre 0, 5 y 2 p.., estando dispuestos estos electrodos, ambos, en la corriente de los gases quemados, siendo efectuada la medida de la riqueza de carburación por medio de la diferencia de potencial entre el electrodo que presenta una actividad catalítica notable y el que no la presenta, variando el potencial de este último poco con dureza de carburación.
