Abstract
Instrumento quirúrgico (10), que comprende: un mango (12) que presenta un elemento tubular alargado (16) que se extiende distalmente desde el mango, presentando el elemento tubular alargado una parte proximal (34), una parte distal (32) y una sección de articulación (30) posicionada entre las partes distal y proximal, permitiendo la sección de articulación que la parte distal se mueva con relación a la parte proximal; y un mecanismo de fuerza de accionamiento que incluye un elemento de accionamiento (70) posicionado en la parte proximal, una barra de transferencia (88) posicionada en la parte distal y un dispositivo de transferencia (84) posicionado en la sección de articulación, recibiendo el dispositivo de transferencia una fuerza de accionamiento procedente del elemento de accionamiento y reorientando la fuerza de accionamiento alrededor de la sección de articulación y hacia la barra de transferencia, estando montado el dispositivo de transferencia de forma giratoria en la sección de articulación; en el que el dispositivo de transferencia es una rueda dentada montada giratoriamente en un punto de articulación, caracterizado porque el elemento de accionamiento incluye una cremallera (80) que puede acoplarse con la rueda dentada para hacer girar la rueda dentada en respuesta a un movimiento longitudinal de la cremallera.

- Campo técnico
La presente descripción se refiere a mecanismos de fuerza de activación para su utilización en un instrumento quirúrgico. Más particularmente, la presente descripción se refiere a mecanismos de fuerza de activación capaces de transmitir una fuerza de activación o de accionamiento alrededor de un ángulo dentro de un instrumento de grapado quirúrgico.

- Antecedentes de la técnica relacionada
En la técnica, son conocidos diversos instrumentos quirúrgicos para realizar operaciones dentro de una cavidad corporal. Algunos de estos instrumentos están configurados para pasar a través de una abertura de acceso en el cuerpo del paciente. Una parte de mango del instrumento permanece fuera del cuerpo, mientras que una parte alargada del instrumento pasa a través de la lumbrera y entra en la cavidad del cuerpo. Cuando se utilizan estos tipos de dispositivos, es difícil frecuentemente orientar el extremo distal de la parte alargada dentro del cuerpo por manipulación de la parte de mango del instrumento desde el exterior del cuerpo.
Se han desarrollado instrumentos singulares que permiten que la parte alargada del instrumento que entra en el cuerpo se doble o se mueva dentro del cuerpo con independencia de la posición de la parte de mango del instrumento fuera del cuerpo. Estos instrumentos quirúrgicos “articulados” emplean diversos mecanismos para hacer que la parte alargada se doble o se reoriente dentro del cuerpo.
El documento EP-A-1 813 203, a partir del cual se deriva el objeto de la reivindicación 1, describe un mecanismo, en el que la fuerza de accionamiento se transmite alrededor de la articulación por medio de un conjunto de engranaje cónico.
Aunque es relativamente fácil que la parte alargada del instrumento se doble o se reoriente dentro del cuerpo, la capacidad de transmitir una fuerza de activación o accionamiento alrededor del codo a un efector extremo asociado con la parte alargada plantea dificultades. Estas dificultades incluyen la pérdida de fuerza debido al combado o flexión de los elementos de accionamiento cuando estos pasan alrededor del codo en la parte alargada, etc.
Se proporciona un instrumento quirúrgico que incluye un mango que presenta un elemento tubular alargado que se extiende distalmente desde el mango. El elemento tubular alargado presenta una parte proximal, una parte distal y una sección de articulación posicionada entre las partes distal y proximal. La sección de articulación permite que la parte distal se mueva con relación a la sección proximal. Se proporciona un mecanismo de fuerza de accionamiento en el instrumento quirúrgico, que incluye un elemento de accionamiento posicionado en la parte proximal, una barra de transferencia posicionada en la parte distal y un dispositivo de transferencia posicionado en la sección de articulación. El dispositivo de transferencia recibe una fuerza de accionamiento procedente del elemento de accionamiento y reorienta la fuerza de accionamiento alrededor de la sección de articulación y hacia la barra de transferencia. El dispositivo de transferencia está giratoriamente montado en la sección de articulación. En una realización, el elemento de accionamiento es una rueda dentada giratoriamente montada en un punto de articulación. El elemento de accionamiento incluye una cremallera que se puede acoplar con la rueda dentada para girar la rueda dentada en respuesta al movimiento longitudinal de la cremallera.
La barra de transferencia incluye una cremallera con la rueda dentada de tal manera que la rotación de la rueda dentada mueva la barra de transferencia longitudinalmente dentro de la parte distal.
En la presente memoria, se describen diversas formas de realización de los presentes mecanismos de fuerza de accionamiento haciendo referencia a los dibujos 1-6. Los dibujos 7-14 ilustran formas de realización que no forman parte de la presente invención.

Las formas de realización de los mecanismos de fuerza de accionamiento actualmente descritos para su utilización en instrumentos quirúrgico se describirán ahora con detalle haciendo referencia a los dibujos, en los que números iguales designan elementos idénticos o correspondientes en cada una de las diversas vistas. Como es común en la técnica, el término “proximal” se refiere a la parte o componente más próximo al usuario u operador, es decir, usuario, cirujano o médico, mientras que el término “distal” se refiere a la parte o componente más alejado del usuario.
La figura 1 ilustra una grapadora quirúrgica 10 que incorpora una forma de realización de un mecanismo de fuerza de accionamiento. La grapadora quirúrgica 10 incluye generalmente un mango 12 y una parte extrema distal 14 que se extiende distalmente desde el mango 12. La parte extrema distal 14 está configurada para uso endoscópico e incluye un elemento tubular alargado 16 que se extiende desde un extremo distal 18 del mango 12. Un conjunto de mordazas 20 está montado sobre un extremo distal 22 del elemento tubular alargado 16 e incluye un cartucho de grapas 24 y un yunque 26. El yunque 26 está montado para movimiento entre una posición abierta separada del cartucho de grapas y una posición cerrada sustancialmente adyacente al cartucho de grapas 24. En el mango 12, está dispuesto un disparador 28 para activar el conjunto de mordazas 20.
La grapadora quirúrgica 10 es del tipo de instrumentos quirúrgicos que son capaces de doblarse o articularse sobre una sección de articulación 30 en el elemento tubular alargado 16. La sección de articulación 30 está situada aproximadamente a mitad de camino a lo largo del elemento tubular alargado 16, separando el elemento tubular alargado 16 en una parte distal 32 y una parte proximal 34. El elemento tubular alargado 16 se dobla sobre un eje “A” de la sección de articulación 30 según un ángulo α. Un activador de articulación 36 está dispuesto en el mango 12 para mover la parte distal 32 con relación a la parte proximal 34 alrededor del eje A (representado en las figuras 1, 2). El activador de articulación 36 mueve unos articuladores 40 y 42 que se extienden desde el activador de articulación 36 hasta la sección de articulación 30. (Véase, la figura 5.) Aunque no se muestra específicamente, se conocen diversos mecanismos en la técnica que son capaces de realizar un movimiento angular de la parte distal 32 del elemento tubular alargado 16 con relación a la parte proximal 34 del elemento tubular alargado 16 alrededor del eje A y según el ángulo α. Por ejemplo, varillajes, bandas flexibles, ruedas dentadas, etc. En una forma de realización particular, el ángulo α puede estar entre aproximadamente 0º y aproximadamente 90º o más con respecto al eje longitudinal de la parte proximal 34.
Con el fin de orientar apropiadamente el conjunto de mordazas 20 con relación al tejido, la grapadora quirúrgica 10 incluye un botón de rotación 44 montado giratoriamente en el mango 12. El elemento tubular alargado 16 está montado en una parte cónica de morro 46 del botón de rotación 44, y una parte moleteada 48 está dispuesta en el botón de rotación 44 para facilitar la rotación de la parte extrema distal 14 con relación al mango 12.
Haciendo referencia a la figura 2, un accionador 50 está montado para movimiento longitudinal dentro del mango 12. Un par de carriles de guiado 52 y 54 están dispuestos en el mango para soportar el accionador 50. Como se observa anteriormente, el disparador 28 está dispuesto para activar el conjunto de mordazas 20. El disparador 28 está montado de manera pivotante sobre un poste de pivote 56 formado en el mango 20. Un extremo superior 58 del disparador 28 está conectado al accionador 50 por un pasador de pivote 60. El movimiento del disparador 28 traslada el accionador 50 dentro del mango 12 para activar el conjunto de mordazas 20. Un resorte de retorno 62 está posicionado sobre el poste de pivote 56 y puede acoplarse en un primer extremo 64 con un saliente 66 formado en el mango 12. Un segundo extremo 68 del resorte 62 se acopla al disparador 28 para solicitar el disparador 28 hacia una posición abierta o no disparada.
Como se observa anteriormente, la grapadora quirúrgica 10 incluye un mecanismo de fuerza de accionamiento con el fin de transferir una fuerza de activación del disparador 28 al conjunto de mordazas 20. El mecanismo de fuerza de accionamiento incluye una barra de accionamiento 70 prevista dentro de la parte proximal 34 del elemento tubular alargado 16. La barra de accionamiento 70 está conectada en su extremo proximal 72 a un collar de rotación 74 montado giratoriamente en el mango 12. El collar de rotación 74 está conectado a un extremo distal 76 del accionador 50. Se dispone el collar de rotación 74 para permitir que giren el vástago de accionamiento 70 y otros componentes de mecanismo de fuerza de accionamiento cuando se hace girar la parte extrema distal 14 por manipulación del botón de rotación 44.
Haciendo referencia a continuación a la figura 3, el vástago de accionamiento 70 se extiende a través de la parte proximal 34 hasta la sección de articulación 30. Un extremo distal 78 del vástago de accionamiento 70 incluye una primera cremallera 80 para facilitar la transferencia de una fuerza de accionamiento alrededor de la sección de articulación 30 y a través de la misma. El vástago de accionamiento 70 se enruta a través de un tubo de guía 82 montado dentro de la parte proximal 34 del elemento tubular alargado 16 para separa los componentes del mecanismo de accionamiento de los componentes de articulación. Con el fin de transferir una fuerza de accionamiento a través de la sección de articulación 30, un dispositivo de transferencia, tal como una rueda dentada de transferencia 84, está montado giratoriamente dentro de la sección de articulación 30 sobre un husillo central 86. El husillo central 86 está montado dentro de la sección de articulación 30 a lo largo del eje A. La rueda dentada de transferencia 84 puede acoplarse con el vástago de accionamiento 70 de una manera discutida a continuación. Una barra de transferencia 88 está dispuesta dentro de la parte distal 32 del elemento tubular alargado 16 y está prevista para transmitir fuerzas recibidas del vástago de accionamiento 70 al conjunto de mordazas 20. La barra de transferencia 88 incluye una segunda cremallera 90 en un extremo proximal 92 de la misma, que puede acoplarse con la rueda dentada de transferencia 84. Un extremo distal 94 de la barra de transferencia 88 termina en un diente de accionamiento 96.
Haciendo referencia a la figura 4, la primera cremallera 80 incluye una pluralidad de primeros dientes 98 que pueden acoplarse con dientes 100 de rueda dentada formados en la rueda dentada de transferencia 84. Asimismo, la segunda cremallera 90 incluye una pluralidad de dientes 102 acoplables también con los dientes 100 de la rueda dentada de transferencia 84. De este modo, cuando el vástago de accionamiento 70 se mueve longitudinalmente, la primera cremallera 80 gire la rueda dentada de transferencia 84, que, a su vez, acciona la barra de transferencia 88 longitudinalmente dentro de la parte distal 32.
Haciendo referencia de nuevo a la figura 3, un accionador 104 está montado de forma móvil dentro de la parte distal
32. Un extremo distal 106 del accionador 104 incluye un travesaño 108 que puede acoplarse con un borde angulado del yunque 26 para mover el yunque 26 entre las posiciones abierta y cerrada. Aunque no se muestra específicamente, un bisturí está asociado también con el extremo distal 106 del accionador 104 para cortar tejido capturado entre el yunque 26 y el cartucho de grapas 24. El yunque 26 incluye una ranura longitudinal 112 para permitir el paso del bisturí a través del conjunto de mordazas 20.
Con el fin de recibir la fuerza de accionamiento de la barra de transferencia 88, un extremo proximal 114 del accionador 104 está provisto de una serie de topes 116 que pueden acoplarse con el diente de accionamiento 96 en el extremo distal 94 de la barra de transferencia 88. (Véanse las figuras 3 y 7.) El diente de accionamiento 96 se acopla repetidamente a los topes subsiguientes 116 para hacer avanzar incrementalmente el accionador 104 dentro de la parte distal 32 y activar de este modo el conjunto de mordazas 20. El accionador 104 está soportado para movimiento longitudinal dentro de la parte distal 32 por un par de canales de guía 118 y 120. Los topes 116 pueden estar conformados como superficies que definen ventanas en el accionador 104, muescas, pasadores o dientes.
Se describirá a continuación la utilización del mecanismo de fuerza de accionamiento revelado de la grapadora quirúrgica 10 para transmitir una fuerza de accionamiento alrededor de un codo en una grapadora quirúrgica. Haciendo referencia inicialmente a las figuras 2 y 3, la grapadora quirúrgica 10 está en una posición inicial, solicitando el resorte 62 al disparador 28 hacia la posición abierta o no disparada. El extremo superior 58 del disparador 28 pone al accionador 50 y, por tanto, a la barra de accionamiento 70 en una posición proximal dentro del mango 12 (figura 2). Como se muestra en la figura 3, la parte distal 32 del elemento tubular alargado 16 está en alineación longitudinal con la parte proximal 34, y el yunque 26 está en la posición abierta, separado del cartucho de grapas 24. La barra de transferencia 88 y el accionador 104 están también en posiciones proximales dentro de la parte distal 32.
Haciendo referencia a continuación a las figuras 1 y 5, tras la activación del accionador de articulación 36 (figura 1), los articuladores 40 y 42 son activados para hacer que el elemento tubular alargado 16 se doble en el eje A en la sección de articulación 30, posicionando así la parte distal 32 del elemento tubular alargado 16 bajo un ángulo de aproximadamente 90º con relación a la parte proximal 34 (figura 5). Como se observa anteriormente, se conocen bien en la técnica diversos mecanismos y métodos para realizar el doblado o la articulación en la sección de articulación 30. El conjunto de mordazas 16 está inicialmente posicionado alrededor de una sección de tejido “T” sobre la que se debe actuar.
Haciendo referencia a las figuras 1 y 6, el disparador 28 es activado o apretado proximalmente haciendo que el extremo superior 58 impulse el accionador 50 distalmente dentro del mango 12. Cuando el accionador 50 se mueve distalmente, éste mueve la barra de accionamiento 70 distalmente dentro de la parte proximal 34 del elemento tubular alargado 16. Como se observa mejor en la figura 6, el movimiento distal de la barra de accionamiento 70 gire la rueda dentada de transferencia 84 en el sentido de las agujas del reloj alrededor del eje A y en la dirección de la flecha B. En particular, los primeros dientes 98 de la barra de accionamiento 70 se acoplan con los dientes 100 de la rueda dentada de transferencia 84 y los hacen girar. La rueda dentada de transferencia 84 recibe la fuerza de accionamiento procedente de la barra de accionamiento 70 y transfiere o “redirige” la fuerza según el ángulo α, en este caso 90º, a la barra de transferencia 88. Específicamente, los dientes 100 de la rueda dentada se acoplan a los segundos dientes 102 de la segunda cremallera 90 forzando la barra de transferencia distalmente dentro de la parte distal 32 del elemento tubular alargado 16. De este modo, la combinación de la barra de accionamiento 70 incluyendo la primera cremallera 80, la rueda dentada de transferencia 84 y la barra de transferencia 88 incluyendo la segunda cremallera 90 forma un mecanismo de transferencia o “redireccionamiento” de fuerza de accionamiento que permite que una fuerza de accionamiento sea transmitida según un ángulo formado en una parte de la grapadora quirúrgica 10. Como se observa anteriormente, los mecanismos de fuerza de accionamiento descritos en la presente memoria, son igualmente aplicables a otros instrumentos quirúrgicos, tales como, por ejemplo, tenazas, cuchillas, aplicadores de pinzas, etc. Además, los mecanismos de fuerza de accionamiento descritos son igualmente aplicables en otros instrumentos quirúrgicos que tengan secciones de articulación localizadas en otras posiciones sobre el instrumento quirúrgico, por ejemplo en la juntura de un mango y un elemento tubular alargado, junto a un efector extremo, etc.
Haciendo referencia a la figura 7, como se observa anteriormente, el diente de accionamiento 96 de la barra de transferencia 88 se acopla a topes secuenciales 116 a modo de trinquete o de forma incremental para mover el accionador 104 distalmente dentro de la parte distal 32, activando así el conjunto de mordazas 20. En algunos casos, puede ser necesario proporcionar múltiples activaciones del disparador 28 para activar completamente el conjunto de mordazas 20. Para cada activación del disparador 28, la barra de transferencia 88 y, especialmente, el diente de accionamiento 96 recorren una longitud de carrera d1. El diente de accionamiento tiene una cara de accionamiento distal 122 para acoplarse a los topes 116. Con el fin de que la barra de transferencia realice una carrera de retorno, el diente de accionamiento 96 incluye una cara inclinada proximal 124 que permite que el diente de accionamiento 96 se desconecte de los topes 116 o se “escape” de estos. La activación adicional del disparador 28 hace que la cara de accionamiento distal 122 del diente de accionamiento 96 se acople a los topes subsiguientes
116. Unos carriles de guiado 125 y 128 están dispuestos dentro de la parte distal 32 para permitir que el extremo distal 94 de la barra de transferencia 88 se mueva lateralmente hacia fuera de los topes 116 y guíe la barra de transferencia 88 en su movimiento longitudinal dentro de la parte distal 32.
Haciendo referencia a las figuras 6 y 8, tras la activación completa, el travesaño 108 del accionador 104 se acopla al borde angulado 110 del yunque 26 moviendo el yunque hacia la posición cerrada con relación al cartucho de grapas
24.
Haciendo referencia a continuación a la figura 9, tras la activación adicional de la grapadora quirúrgica 10, una barra de grapas 130 asociada con el accionador 104 se mueve distalmente a través del cartucho de grapas 24 cuando el accionador 104 se mueve distalmente a través de la ranura 112 del yunque 26. La barra de grapas 130 se acopla a unos empujadores 132 posicionados dentro de receptáculos 134 de grapas en el cartucho de grapas 24. Los empujadores 132 impulsan grapas 136, también posicionadas dentro de los receptáculos 134 de grapas, hacia el yunque 26, de tal manera que los extremos puntiagudos 138, 140 sean hincados a través del tejido T y hacia dentro de receptáculos 142 de recalcado de grapa en el yunque 26 para grapar así la sección de tejido T. Como se observa anteriormente, un bisturí asociado con el accionador 104 se mueve distalmente con el travesaño 108 para cortar tejido T entre las líneas de grapado formadas por las grapas 136.
Haciendo referencia a continuación a las figuras 10-14, se describe otra forma de realización de un mecanismo de fuerza de accionamiento para su utilización en instrumentos quirúrgicos, tales como la grapadora quirúrgica 10. Haciendo referencia inicial a la figura 10, la grapadora quirúrgica 10 es tal como se describe anteriormente. Sin embargo, en lugar de barras de accionamiento, cremalleras y ruedas dentadas, la forma de realización descrita incluye un sistema de cable, rueda y/o polea para transferir una fuerza de accionamiento del disparador 28 alrededor y a través de la sección de articulación 30 y al conjunto de mordazas 20. En particular, una rueda 150 está montada giratoriamente sobre un pivote 152 en el mango 12. El extremo superior 58 está conectado a la rueda de accionamiento 150 en una espiga de pivote 60 para hacer girar la rueda de accionamiento 150 en respuesta a la activación del disparador 28. Un cable de accionamiento 154 pasa alrededor de la rueda 150 y se extiende a través de la parte proximal 34 del elemento tubular alargado 16 y a través de la sección de articulación 30 hasta la parte distal 32 del elemento tubular alargado 16. El cable de accionamiento 154 está formado de un material flexible para pasar alrededor de la rueda 150. El cable de accionamiento 154 incluye una sección superior 156 y una sección inferior 158. Cuando se activa el disparador 128, el extremo superior 58 del disparador 28 gira la rueda 150 en el sentido de las agujas del reloj en el mango 12 para hacer avanzar la sección superior 156 distalmente y arrastrar la sección inferior 158 proximalmente dentro del elemento tubular alargado 16. Un collar 160 está dispuesto dentro del mango 12 y permite que el cable de accionamiento 154 gire cuando el elemento tubular alargado 16 gira de la manera descrita anteriormente.
Haciendo referencia a la figura 11, con el fin de pasar la fuerza de accionamiento del cable de accionamiento 154 al accionador 104, una palanca 162 está dispuesta dentro de la parte distal 32 y montada pivotadamente en un punto de pivote 166 sobre un poste central 164. Un extremo distal 168 de la sección superior 156 del cable de accionamiento 154 está conectado a un primer extremo 170 de la palanca 162 y un extremo distal 172 de la sección inferior 158 está conectado a un segundo extremo 174 de la palanca 162.
Como se observa anteriormente, los mecanismos de fuerza de accionamiento descritos incorpora dispositivos de transferencia posicionados dentro de la sección de articulación 30 de la grapadora quirúrgica 10 para transferir y redirigir una fuerza de accionamiento que pasa a través del elemento tubular alargado 16 cuando el elemento tubular alargado 16 se dobla según un ángulo α. En esta forma de realización, el dispositivo de transferencia tiene la forma de un par de ruedas, incluyendo una rueda superior 176 y una rueda inferior 178, montadas giratoriamente sobre un husillo 180 posicionado dentro de la sección de articulación 30. El husillo 180 está localizado sobre el eje A de la grapadora quirúrgica 10.
Una barra de transferencia 182 está posicionada dentro de la parte distal 32 para transferir fuerzas entre la palanca 162 y el accionador 104. Un extremo proximal 184 está fijado al primer extremo 178 de la palanca 162 y un extremo distal 186 de la barra de transferencia 182 está sujeto a un diente de accionamiento 188 que funciona de manera sustancialmente idéntica al diente de accionamiento 96, descrito anteriormente, para acoplar los topes 116 y hacer avanzar el accionador 104 dentro de la parte distal 32.
Haciendo referencia a continuación a las figuras 10-14, e inicialmente con referencia a las figuras 10 y 11, en uso el disparador 28 está en la posición no disparada con la rueda 150 en reposo. La parte proximal 34 del elemento tubular alargado 16 está en alineación longitudinal con la sección de articulación 30 y la parte distal 32. El yunque 26 está en la posición abierta separado del cartucho de grapas 24.
Haciendo referencia a las figuras 10 y 12, como se discute anteriormente, el accionador de articulación 36 se activa para doblar el elemento tubular alargado 16 en la sección de articulación 30 y posicionar el conjunto de mordazas 20 con relación a una sección de tejido “T” de tal manera que el yunque 26 y el cartucho de grapas 24 estén posicionados alrededor de una sección de tejido T. Se activa el disparador 28 para girar la rueda 150 en el sentido de las agujas del reloj arrastrando la sección inferior 158 del cable de accionamiento 154 proximalmente y forzando
o permitiendo que la sección superior 156 se mueva distalmente.
Como se muestra en la figura 12, la sección superior 156 del cable de accionamiento 154 pasa alrededor de la rueda superior 176 en la sección de articulación 30, mientras que la sección inferior 158 pasa alrededor de la rueda inferior
178. Cuando la sección inferior 158 es arrastrada proximalmente, la sección inferior 158 tira del segundo extremo 174 de la palanca 162, girando la palanca 162 en el sentido de las agujas del reloj y accionando distalmente el primer extremo 170 de la palanca 162. El movimiento distal del primer extremo 170 acciona la barra de transferencia 182 distalmente, haciendo que el diente de accionamiento 188 se acople a un tope 116 y haga avanzar el accionador 104 distalmente dentro de la parte distal 32 del elemento tubular alargado 16.
Haciendo referencia a la figura 13, y como se expone anteriormente, el movimiento distal del accionador 104 fuerza el travesaño 108 contra el borde angulado 110 del yunque 26 para mover el yunque 26 hasta la posición cerrada con relación al cartucho de grapas 24. Las activaciones subsiguientes del disparador 28 darán como resultado una actuación adicional de la grapadora quirúrgica 10 para grapar el tejido T de la manera descrita anteriormente.
Haciendo referencia a la figura 14, el diente de accionamiento 188 realiza también la carrera d1 para hacer avanzar incrementalmente el accionador 104 por acoplamientos sucesivos con los topes 116. El diente de accionamiento 188 incluye una cara de accionamiento distal 190 para acoplamiento con los topes y una cara inclinada proximal 192 que permite que el diente de accionamiento 188 se desacople de un tope 116 en una carrera de retorno del diente de
5 accionamiento 188 y se reacople a un tope subsiguiente 116.
De esta manera, los mecanismos de fuerza de accionamiento anteriormente descritos permiten que se transmita una fuerza de accionamiento desde un mango del instrumento quirúrgico alrededor de una sección articulada del instrumento quirúrgico y, finalmente, se transmita dicha fuerza a un conjunto de mordazas del instrumento
10 quirúrgico.
Se entenderá que pueden realizarse diversas modificaciones en las formas de realización aquí descritas. Por ejemplo, los mecanismos de fuerza de accionamiento descritos son igualmente adecuados para su utilización en instrumentos quirúrgicos que tengan un punto de articulación en efectores extremos asociados o cerca de los
15 mismos. Por tanto, la descripción anterior no deberá interpretarse como limitativa, sino únicamente como ejemplificaciones de formas de realización particulares. Los expertos en la materia contemplarán otras modificaciones dentro del alcance de las reivindicaciones adjuntas.
Se proporciona un instrumento quirúrgico que incorpora mecanismos de fuerza de accionamiento capaces de
20 transmitir una fuerza de accionamiento a través de una sección articulada del instrumento quirúrgico. En una forma de realización, una serie de cremalleras se conectan con una rueda dentada de transferencia para hacer que pasen fuerzas alrededor de la sección articulada.
Claims (2)
- REIVINDICACIONES1. Instrumento quirúrgico (10), que comprende:5 un mango (12) que presenta un elemento tubular alargado (16) que se extiende distalmente desde el mango, presentando el elemento tubular alargado una parte proximal (34), una parte distal (32) y una sección de articulación(30) posicionada entre las partes distal y proximal, permitiendo la sección de articulación que la parte distal se mueva con relación a la parte proximal; y10 un mecanismo de fuerza de accionamiento que incluye un elemento de accionamiento (70) posicionado en la parte proximal, una barra de transferencia (88) posicionada en la parte distal y un dispositivo de transferencia (84) posicionado en la sección de articulación, recibiendo el dispositivo de transferencia una fuerza de accionamiento procedente del elemento de accionamiento y reorientando la fuerza de accionamiento alrededor de la sección de articulación y hacia la barra de transferencia, estando montado el dispositivo de transferencia de forma giratoria en la15 sección de articulación;en el que el dispositivo de transferencia es una rueda dentada montada giratoriamente en un punto de articulación, caracterizado porque el elemento de accionamiento incluye una cremallera (80) que puede acoplarse con la rueda dentada para hacer girar la rueda dentada en respuesta a un movimiento longitudinal de la cremallera.20
- 2. Instrumento quirúrgico según la reivindicación 1, en el que la barra de transferencia (88) incluye una cremallera(90) que se puede acoplar con la rueda dentada (84), de tal manera que la rotación de la rueda dentada mueva la barra de transferencia longitudinalmente en el interior de la parte distal.
