La solicitud contiene cinco reivindicaciones de las que sólo es independiente la primera; las reivindicaciones segunda a quinta dependen directamente de la primera. La primera reivindicación caracteriza la invención porque la bolsa está fabricada con alcohol polivinílico, está abierta por alguno de sus lados y está provista de una solapa con adhesivo para cerrarse una vez rellena con el contenido adecuado. En esta caracterización, sólo el primer elemento técnico es específico, ya que el que una bolsa tenga algún lado abierto o que se pueda cerrar con algún tipo de adhesivo son detalles ampliamente divulgados hasta el punto de que podrían considerarse elementos generales de la técnica y el que cuente con una solapa para el cierre es elemento habitual de sobres. El que esté fabricada en un material u otro, en general, no lleva consigo actividad inventiva, pero en este caso sí podría llevarla porque ese material específico tiene una propiedad decisiva para el uso del objeto de la invención y que muchos otros materiales no tienen, cual es la propiedad de ser soluble en agua. Esto permite, por tanto, desechar la bolsa en el inodoro sin problemas de atascos ni contaminación. Sin embargo, tanto la configuración geométrica de la bolsa como el material del que está fabricada, pertenecen al estado de la técnica anterior a la solicitud. En concreto, el documento D1 (Daio) divulga una bolsa con esas características. Igualmente el documento D4 (Seiou) divulga otra bolsa en la que no especifica que el material sea el alcohol polivinílico, pero sí que sea un material degradable en agua, con lo que la diferencia con la solicitud y la actividad inventiva reconocible a la misma, se reducen considerablemente. La segunda reivindicación caracteriza la invención por el contenido del que se dota a la bolsa: papel higiénico, una toalla de celulosa con jabón seco, otra toalla para secar las manos y un cubre asiento de inodoro también de papel. A diferencia de la reivindicación anterior, este conjunto de elementos no se ha encontrado divulgado previamente a la solicitud. La tercera reivindicación caracteriza la invención porque está fabricada con un polímero degradable en agua diferente del alcohol polivinílico. Esta caracterización no lleva implícita ninguna actividad inventiva cuando depende de la primera, puesto que el alcohol polivinílico ya era degradable en agua; la simple conmutación de materiales, como se recuerda en el apartado dedicado a la primera reivindicación no lleva consigo actividad inventiva (como no la lleva la variación de dimensiones). No se puede hablar de una simple conmutación cuando se relaciona el alcohol polivinílico con otros materiales habituales en la técnica: papel, cartón, plásticos de diverso tipo no degradables en agua, etc; pero cuando se relaciona el alcohol polivinílico con otros polímeros degradables en agua, sería necesario específicar que polímeros son y qué resultado justifica que se deban considerar como una alternativa no obvia al alcohol polivinílico.
