Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en la construcción de reactores nucleares constituidos por un reactor nuclear refrigerado por gas de la clase que dentro de un depósito envolvente lleva un núcleo que comprende un material moderador y que para los elementos de combustible del reactor lleva canales verticales para la corriente del gas refrigerante, caracterizados porque se dispone para robar calor de los elementos de combustible, en el cual una pantalla protectora adaptada para restringir por lo menos la corriente de neutrones hacia arriba desde los elementos de combustible en el núcleo hacia la parte superior del depósito protector, va dispuesta por encima del núcleo en el espacio entre este núcleo y el depósito envolvente, determinando dicha pantalla protectora un espacio gaseoso al que se suministra gas refrigerante.
