Abstract
Procedimiento para la obtención de gases dioxisulfurosos mediante tostación en capa arremolinada de azufre tostable, junto con materiales arseniosos y antimoniosos, especialmente piritas, obteniéndose productos de tostación sólidos prácticamente libres de arsenio y antimonio, caracterizado porque los gases de tostación, que arrastran polvo arsenioso y antimonioso y que salen de la capa arremolinada, se someten a un desempolvado previo a una temperatura superior a 600º C, a continuación se quema la parte de polvo combustible, contenida en los gases de tostación, así tratados, se enfrían en un intercambiador de calor a temperaturas de 450º hasta 350º y, a esta temperatura, se conducen a un purificador de gas eléctrico.
