Abstract
Formulaciones efervescentes que tienen la composición siguiente: Tartrato de L-carnitina (equivalente a 1 g de L-carnitina) 1.455,00 mg, ácido málico 231,00 mg, sorbitol 1.950,00 mg,ácido cítrico anhidro 136,00 mg, bicarbonato sódico anhidro 700,00 mg, carbonato sódico anhidro 70,00 mg,esencia de limón (polvo) 130,00 mg, acesulfamo potásico 10,00 mg, aspartamo, 5 00 mg, citrato sódico dibásico308,00 mg.

Comprimidos efervescentes y gránulos efervescentes que contienen tartrato de carnitina.
Campo de la invención
La invención presentada en esta memoria se refiere a comprimidos efervescentes y gránulos efervescentes que 5 utilizan carnitina al estado de sal tartrato.
La carnitina es un producto natural que se encuentra en organismos animales y que es distribuida a tejidos animales. Estudios farmacológicos han demostrado que solamente el enantiómero levorrotatorio de la carnitina, a saber, L-carnitina [como se describe en lo sucesivo en esta memoria (L-carnitina = Levo-carnitina), como es costumbre en la bibliografía internacional]. Los efectos farmacológicos de la molécula están asociados a:

- El sistema cardiovascular, en el que la L-carnitina desempeña un papel definitivo en el metabolismo cardiaco.
Cuando se administra L-carnitina per os, ésta es absorbida por el intestino delgado y la concentración plasmática máxima se consigue rápidamente en niveles satisfactorios. En el mercado farmacéutico la L-carnitina puede 15 encontrarse en forma de soluciones orales, al estado de base libre o de sal.
Descripción de la invención
La presente invención se refiere a formulaciones efervescentes según se define en la tabla que figura seguidamente. Con la presente invención, se consigue la producción de comprimidos efervescentes así como también de gránulos efervescentes, que contienen tartrato de L-carnitina como ingrediente activo. Después de la
20 efervescencia, debido a la presencia de excipientes adecuados y aceptables, se produce una solución de Lcarnitina.
Es bien sabido en la técnica que una formulación efervescente tanto en forma de comprimidos como de gránulos, proporciona una solución que puede ingerirse fácilmente y que, a este respecto, es más favorable para los usuarios por facilitar un transporte conveniente durante todo el día, dado que los planes de dosificación caracterizan más de
25 una toma al día, en oposición a una formulación equivalente del ingrediente activo en forma de una solución oral contenida en viales.

Comprimidos efervescentes – gránulos efervescentes: 1) Se mezclan los excipientes que siguen: sorbitol, ácido cítrico anhidro y ácido málico. 2) En la mezcla que resulta de la etapa 1 se incorpora el tartrato de L-carnitina y se mezcla de nuevo.
5 3) Se mezclan los excipientes que siguen: bicarbonato sódico anhidro, carbonato sódico anhidro y citrato sódico dibásico, y la mezcla que resulta se mezcla con la mezcla producida en la etapa 2. 4) En la mezcla producida en la etapa 3 se incorporan los excipientes que siguen : acesulfamo potásico, aspartamo y esencia de limón (polvo), y se mezcla una vez más. 5) Con el método citado se producen gránulos que, o bien pueden ser envasados en sobres, en un medio 10 ambiente de humedad baja, o bien pueden someterse a compresión para obtener comprimidos de 5-10 kp de dureza. Estos comprimidos se envasan luego en tiras de aluminio.

- REIVINDICACIONES1.- Formulaciones efervescentes que tienen la composición siguiente:Tartrato de L-carnitina (equivalente a 1 g de L-carnitina) 1.455,00 mg, ácido málico 231,00 mg, sorbitol 1.950,00 mg, ácido cítrico anhidro 136,00 mg, bicarbonato sódico anhidro 700,00 mg, carbonato sódico anhidro 70,00 mg, esencia de limón (polvo) 130,00 mg, acesulfamo potásico 10,00 mg, aspartamo 10,00 mg, citrato sódico dibásico 308,00 mg.
