Abstract

Procedimiento para la extracción de lípidos a partir de biomasa algal que comprende: - producir una suspensión acuosa de biomasa algal; - añadir a dicha suspensión acuosa de biomasa algal por lo menos un solvente orgánico inmiscible o sustancialmente inmiscible con agua, obteniendo una mezcla acuosa orgánica; - someter dicha mezcla orgánica acuosa a evaporación de agua y a extracción de lípidos, operando a una temperatura que permita alcanzar la eliminación sustancial completa del agua de dicha mezcla orgánica acuosa, obteniendo: (i) una fase orgánica que comprende lípidos y dicho solvente orgánico; (ii) una fase semisólida que comprende un residuo de dicha biomasa de algal.
