Un tapón de garantía para botellas, y concretamente las botellas de envasado de gases licuados, consistente en una cazoleta que se introducirá en el interior de la embocadura de la botella, la cual cazoleta posee en su fondo un resalte central circular, para cubrir el saliente de la válvula de salida de la botella, y en su borde superior un aro a modo de sombrerete, que cubre el borde de la embocadura, con una pestaña apta para tirar de ella y rasgar el tapón, pudiendo disponerse estampado o impreso cualquier leyenda, marca o número tanto en la parte plana del resalte central como en el aro y pestaña.
