Abstract
Un sensor (12, 13) que responde a actividades no autorizadas para un sistema (10) que responde a actividadesno autorizadas, estando configurado el sensor (12, 13) para ser posicionado entre un artículo (14, 15) a protegery una superficie protectora (11) próxima al citado artículo (14, 15), comprendiendo el sensor: i. un sustrato dieléctrico flexible; ii. trazas conductoras sobre el citado sustrato; y iii. una capa aislante porosa (12) que tiene poros sobre las citadas trazas conductoras, estando configuradala capa aislante porosa (12) de tal manera que el adhesivo dispuesto dentro de los citados poros seextiende desde el citado sustrato a la citada superficie (11) a través de los citados poros de la citada capa aislante porosa (12 ) cuando el sensor (12, 13) está posicionado entre el citado artículo (14, 15) y lacitada superficie (11).
Description
Sistema que responde a actividades no autorizadas
Campo de la invención
La presente invención se refiere a un sistema que responde a actividades no autorizadas y, más en particular, a un sensor que responde a actividades no autorizadas que está adaptado para su uso dentro de un dispositivo.
Antecedentes de la invención
Los sensores que responden a actividades no autorizadas se utilizan en diversas aplicaciones, incluyendo el transporte de información confidencial y la protección de dispositivos electrónicos. Los sensores típicos son en forma de sobres y cajas poco profundas, cuyas paredes están formadas por láminas flexibles plegables que incorporan características de detección de manipulación indebida. Se incluyen en este tipo de sensores capas de material flexible que incluyen una matriz de líneas conductoras o semiconductoras impresas en una película aislante delgada. La matriz de líneas forma un conductor continuo que se rompe si se hacen intentos de penetrar en la película. El circuito es monitorizado abriendo el conductor en un punto y midiendo la resistencia entre los dos extremos del circuito. La resistencia cambia si el circuito está roto, por ejemplo, como resultado de actividades no autorizadas.
Típicamente, los sensores se envuelven alrededor de la parte exterior del dispositivo a proteger. Sin embargo, en muchas aplicaciones, también se requiere que el dispositivo a proteger tenga alguna forma de refuerzo externo que lo rodee. Es decir, muchos dispositivos electrónicos tienen una caja externa o envoltura que proporciona resistencia durante el transporte o en uso. El documento WO 2005/023537 A (Dynatex) describe un material compuesto resistente al corte, que en algunos ejemplos proporciona un tejido de alerta de corte.
El documento US 2002 /084 090 A1 desvela un sensor que responde a actividades no autorizadas configurado para ser colocado entre un artículo a proteger y una superficie de una envolvente que rodea al artículo. El sensor comprende un sustrato dieléctrico flexible y trazas conductoras sobre el sustrato. Un adhesivo se encuentra en contacto tanto con el sustrato como con la superficie.
Sumario de la invención
La presente invención está definida por un sensor que responde a actividades no autorizadas de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1. Las realizaciones preferidas se reivindican en las reivindicaciones dependientes.

Descripción detallada de la invención
Haciendo referencia a las figuras 1A y 1B de los dibujos, a continuación se describirá un sistema 10 que responde a actividades no autorizadas. El sistema 10 que responde a actividades no autorizadas incluye una placa de circuito 14 que tiene componentes 15 dispuestos sobre la misma. Los componentes 15 puede ser dispositivos electrónicos, algunos o todos ellos con necesidad de protección, o que contienen información que debe ser protegida. Dispuesto en o alrededor de la placa de circuito 14 y de los componentes 15 hay un sensor 13 que responde a actividades no autorizadas. 12. La capa aislante porosa 12 tiene poros, que están definidos en la presente memoria descriptiva como aberturas que se extienden desde un lado de la capa aislante al otro. Un material preferido para la capa aislante porosa 12 es el poliéster, más preferiblemente poliéster no tejido. El adhesivo (no mostrado) se encuentra dispuesto dentro de los poros de la capa aislante porosa 12 de tal manera que la capa aislante porosa 12 está unida con seguridad tanto a una superficie interior de la envoltura de refuerzo exterior 11 como al sensor 13 que responde a la manipulación indebida. Preferiblemente, el adhesivo es una resina epoxi en el lado de la capa aislante porosa 12 adyacente a la superficie interior de la envoltura de refuerzo exterior 11 y un adhesivo sensible a la presión en el lado de la capa aislante porosa 12 adyacente al sensor 13 que responde a actividades no autorizadas. Alternativamente, se utiliza un adhesivo uniforme, ya sea de PSA o de epoxi. En cualquier caso, es fundamental que el adhesivo se extienda desde la superficie interior de la envoltura de refuerzo exterior 11 al sensor 13 que responde a actividades no autorizadas a través de los poros de la capa aislante porosa 12.
En uso, si hay cualquier violación de la envoltura de refuerzo 11, la misma destruirá o rasgará la capa porosa aislante 12, que está unida por el adhesivo a la envoltura 11, que a su vez rasgará o romperá el sensor 13 que responde a actividades no autorizadas, también por virtud del adhesivo. Tal violación del sensor 13 que responde a actividades no autorizadas desencadena un cambio de estado eléctrico que envía una señal apropiada a un circuito monitor (que no se muestra). Si este cambio de estado eléctrico se produce, entonces, se borrará o destruirá cualquier información contenida en los componentes 15.
La figura 2 ilustra específicamente una placa de circuito 14 en combinación con el sensor 13 que responde a actividades no autorizadas. En una realización, el sensor 13 que responde a actividades no autorizadas está envuelto alrededor de la placa de circuito 14 sin una caja o envolvente separada alrededor de la placa de circuito 14. Si es necesario en esta realización, se puede utilizar un relleno para formar una superficie sobre la placa de circuito a la cual el sensor 13 que responde a actividades no autorizadas está adherido. Alternativamente, una caja o envolvente separado puede estar dispuesto en primer lugar alrededor de la placa de circuito 14.
La placa de circuito contiene ciertos componentes 15 que deben ser protegidos. Los componentes 15 pueden incluir transmisores inalámbricos. Una disposición particular de componentes ejemplares consiste en componentes que llevan la información confidencial de seguridad en un módulo de cifrado, estando almacenado el acceso a la información en el módulo que requiere el uso de una clave variable, estando almacenada la naturaleza de la clave requerida en una memoria. Como se describirá, el sistema 10 que responde a actividades no autorizadas está dispuesto para detectar intentos de manipulación indebida o de penetrar en el mismo. Por lo tanto, los componentes 15 también incluyen un circuito monitor de envolvente el cual, si se detecta actividades no autorizadas, activará una acción protectora, tal como, por ejemplo, un circuito de borrado para borrar la información almacenada en la memoria y en el módulo de cifrado. Estos componentes 15 están montados e interconectados unos con los otros por la placa de circuito impreso 14, siendo suministrada la energía, por ejemplo, por medio de una batería.
En una realización ejemplar, el sensor 13 que responde a actividades no autorizadas es inicialmente plano, como se ilustra en la figura 3 de los dibujos. El sensor 13 en una realización puede incluir una matriz de líneas conductoras o semiconductores modeladas de forma regular o impredecible, impresas o unidas de otra manera a una película aislante delgada transparente u opaca. Con el fin de hacer el patrón impredecible, la traza en la presente memoria descriptiva se dibuja manualmente usando paquetes de software asistido por ordenador, tales como PCB -PADS®, de Mentor Graphics, que es un programa de software de diseño de placas de circuitos impresos.
La figura 4 ilustra la capa porosa 12 dispuesta alrededor del sensor 13 que responde a actividades no autorizadas. Las propiedades preferidas de la capa porosa 12 incluyen que de hecho sea porosa, como se ha definido más arriba, y que sea aislante o al menos no conductora. Es importante que la capa porosa 12 sea no conductora, ya que, en virtud de su fijación al sensor 13 que tiene pistas conductoras o semiconductoras en la superficie exterior de la misma, se produciría un cortocircuito si la capa porosa 12 fuese conductora. El material preferido para la capa porosa 12 es poliéster, y más preferiblemente es poliéster hilado.
También pueden ser utilizadas otras capas aislantes porosas, tales como (sin limitación) polietileno poroso, polipropileno poroso, politetrafluoroetileno poroso (tal como politetrafluoroetileno expandido), policarbonato poroso. Prácticamente cualquier material no conductor o aislante puede ser usado, siempre que sea poroso. Preferiblemente, la capa porosa 12 tiene un grosor suficiente para asegurar el aislamiento eléctrico entre la envoltura exterior 11 y el sensor 13.
La figura 5 ilustra como la capa porosa 12 está unida a la envoltura exterior 11 así como al sensor 13 por medio de un adhesivo 21. El adhesivo 21 debe penetrar en los poros de la capa porosa 12, de manera que la citada capa porosa 12 esté bien conectada tanto a la superficie interior de la envoltura exterior 11 como al sensor 13. De esta manera, cualquier intento de manipular indebidamente la cubierta protectora exterior 11 produce necesariamente
5 una violación de la capa porosa 12 y por tanto del sensor 13, lo que provoca un cambio de estado eléctrico. La envoltura 11 puede ser alternativamente un chasis, como se representa en la figura 6, incluyendo el sensor 13 la capa de aislante poroso 12 unida a las paredes internas del mismo, u otra envolvente, tal como se representa en la figura 7, en la que el sensor 13 y la capa porosa 12 están unidos directamente a una pared.
El uso la capa porosa de la presente invención como se describe en la presente memoria descriptiva permite que un
10 sensor que responde a manipulación indebida sea dispuesto dentro de una envoltura exterior protectora alrededor de un dispositivo electrónico sensible para lograr un rendimiento adecuado, que hasta ahora era inalcanzable. También, para aplicaciones que requieren una protección que responde a actividades no autorizadas que tienen un espacio limitado y que requieren que el sensor que responde a actividades no autorizadas se encuentre en estrecha proximidad con la envolvente, el sistema que responde a actividades no autorizadas de la presente invención pro
15 porciona la capacidad para que el sensor se encuentre en una proximidad muy cercana a la superficie de la envolvente, garantiza el aislamiento eléctrico entre el sensor y la envolvente, y permite que la envolvente externa sea utilizada como una porción integral de la solución de seguridad.
Aunque se han ilustrado y descrito realizaciones particulares de la presente invención en la presente memoria descriptiva, la presente invención no debe limitarse a tales ilustraciones y descripciones. Será evidente que se pueden

Claims (10)
- REIVINDICACIONES1. Un sensor (12, 13) que responde a actividades no autorizadas para un sistema (10) que responde a actividades no autorizadas, estando configurado el sensor (12, 13) para ser posicionado entre un artículo (14, 15) a proteger y una superficie protectora (11) próxima al citado artículo (14, 15), comprendiendo el sensor:5 i. un sustrato dieléctrico flexible;ii. trazas conductoras sobre el citado sustrato; yiii. una capa aislante porosa (12) que tiene poros sobre las citadas trazas conductoras, estando configurada la capa aislante porosa (12) de tal manera que el adhesivo dispuesto dentro de los citados poros se extiende desde el citado sustrato a la citada superficie (11) a través de los citados poros de la citada ca10 pa aislante porosa (12 ) cuando el sensor (12, 13) está posicionado entre el citado artículo (14, 15) y la citada superficie (11).
- 2. Un sensor (12, 13) que responde a actividades no autorizadas como se ha definido en la reivindicación 1, en el que la citada superficie de protección (11) es una superficie de una envolvente que rodea al citado artículo (14, 15).15 3. Un sensor (12, 13) que responde a actividades no autorizadas como se ha definido en la reivindicación 1, en el que el citado sustrato dieléctrico flexible comprende PET.
- 4. Un sensor (12, 13) que responde a actividades no autorizadas como se ha definido en la reivindicación 1, en el que la citada capa aislante porosa (12) comprende poliéster.
- 5. Un sensor (12, 13) que responde a actividades no autorizadas como se ha definido en la reivindicación 1, en el 20 que el citado adhesivo comprende epoxi.

(a) un artículo (14, 15) a proteger;25 (b) una superficie de protección (11) próxima al citado artículo (14, 15);(c) un sensor (12, 13) que responde a actividades no autorizadas de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 6, estando dispuesto el sensor (12, 13) entre el citado artículo (14, 15) y la citada superficie (11), y en el que el adhesivo dispuesto dentro de los citados poros de la citada capa aislante porosa (12) está en contacto tanto con el citado sustrato como con la citada superficie (11) a través de la citada capa aislante30 porosa (12). -
