Patent EPI663285 validated in Spain with the number ES2401686 refers to the

use of peptide conjugates containing the Gly-His-Lys sequence for the preparation of dennatological or cosmetological compositions to stimulate the

The cosmetic or dennatological composition may, for example, be presented in the form of a lotion, a treatment shampoo, a spray, a gel or a treatment cream.

The patent EP1427383 is aimed at a cosmetic method to prevent or reduce the severity of chemotherapy-induced alopecia in a human patient or a mammalian animal that must undergo chemotherapy treatment of a tumor not resident in the patient's scalp OR animal skin, the method comprising administering to the patient's scalp or animal's skin a composition comprising a chemical inducer of the stress protein response, where the composition is administered in an amount and at a time sufficiently before the administration of a chemotherapeutic drug to produce greater resistance of the hair follicles in the scalp or skin to the drug at the time of administration of the drug.

In relation to androgenetic and diffuse female alopecia is European patent document EPI235571 which refers to the use of a composition, consisting of melatonin, appropriate vehicle substances, diluents and auxiliaries, as well as vitamins, for the preparation of an agent for the treatment of androgenetic and diffuse alopecia of the female type. Another relevant document in the state of the art is patent document ES2l43437 which refers to a product for the treatment of alopecia, procedure for obtaining it and method of application. The product consists of an aqueous vegetable extract, specifically of Agrimonia eupatoria L., obtained by cooking the leaves of said plant, in water, for a time between 20 and 30 minutes from the moment the boiling begins, after that the leaves and solid waste are removed, by filtration, finally being packed after cooling to room temperature. The resulting product is applied to the scalp and allowed to act for a time between 18 and 20 hours, after which it is rinsed.

If we read in detail all these documents of the prior art none of them alludes to the combination proposed by the inventors of the present invention, in particular none of the documents cited above refer to a cosmetic composition comprising a cosmetically effective amount of the following components: organic pea extract, zinc salt of pyrrolidoncarboxylic acid (zinc peA), arginine, caffeine and pantothenic acid salts.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The zinc salt of pyrrolidoncarboxylic acid (zinc peA), or Zinc L-pyrrolidone carboxylic acid has several important functions in the skin and scalp. It occurs in both salt and zinc peA acid. Its fundamental function is to inhibit catalase to limit the production of DHT (Dihydroxystestosterone). DHT is responsible for sebum production of the sebaceous glands, as well as the constriction of blood flow in the scalp. Other benefits include the properties against bacteria and fungi, secondarily controlling the smell that arises from bacterial overgrowth.

Arginine, (arg or R) is one of the 20 amino acids found in part of the proteins. In liver tissue, arginine can be synthesized in the omitin cycle (or urea cycle). It is classified, in pediatric population, as an essential amino acid. This amino acid is involved in many of the activities of the endocrine glands. One of its functions has to do with blood circulation (potentiates the vasodilator effects), so it can be beneficial for coronary problems, for pain in the legs, kidney and hair.

Caffeine is a solid alkaloid of the Puric series; It is a substance that exists from natural sources in some plants, with coffee and tea being the best known, although it can also be produced artificially.
