Manguito para la unión de tubos de diferente diámetro exterior, caracterizado por ser un cuerpo hueco de revolución cuya superficie exterior es cilíndrica e internamente va mecanizado, de forma que aproximadamente en su parte central se origina un escalón. Partiendo de este escalón y hacia ambas bocas hay una zona cilíndrica, a continuación viene un cajeado de forma adecuada para alojamiento del aro elastómero de estanqueidad, y sigue otra zona cilíndrica que llega hasta la boca terminando en un bisel.
