Abstract

Una almohadilla de electrodo de uso médico dotada de componentes no metálicos, para empleo sobre la piel a fin de detectar potenciales eléctricos biológicos, que comprende un disco de material termoplástico flexible eléctricamente aislante, que tiene un elemento de cubierta central, una pared vertical que depende de dicho elemento de cubierta central, definiendo el elemento central y la pared vertical una cavidad central, y un elemento periférico que tiene una superficie inferior que se extiende hacia fuera desde dicha pared; una matriz de plástico poroso contenida en dicha cavidad central; una solución de electrolito que satura dicha matriz porosa y que rellena dicha cavidad central; un adhesivo que cubre dicha superficie inferior de dicho elemento periférico; un soporte desprendible que cubre dicho adhesivo y que encierra y cierra herméticamente dicha matriz de plástico y dicha solución de electrolito en dicha cavidad, y medios situados en dicho disco para recibir y guiar una senda eléctricamente conductora separable, en contacto íntimo con dicha solución de electrolito.
