Abstract
Nueva máquina para cortar metales que se caracteriza en quedar formada por un grupo generador de corriente contínua pulsante cuyo circuito se cierra entre un hilo que se desplaza axialmente consigo mismo y la pieza a trabajar, con interposición de un líquido dieléctrico, regulándose la tensión e intensidad de la corriente eléctrica y asimismo la separación entre el hilo y la pieza a trabajar de tal suerte que entre estos últimos se produzcan descargas eléctricas que motivan la erosión de la pieza, para lo que ésta se conecta al polo positivo del grupo y el hilo al negativo.
