Abstract

An electrical terminal, characterized by a body member of electrically conductive material having a base and a pair of spaced parallel arms extending in the same direction from the base, defining interior surfaces of the arms a cross sectional pitch circulating therebetween, and the arms defining an oval cross section with their outer surfaces, the arms being spaced, one from the other in the direction of the major axis of the oval cross-section, defined by the outer surfaces of the arms; and a compression member of electrically conductive material having therein a hole of oval cross-section, through which hole the arms of the body member are received, the compression member being rotatable with respect to the arms about the longitudinal axis of the body.
