Abstract

Método para el diagnóstico de la enfermedad de Parkinson en estadios tempranos. La presente invención se relaciona con un método in vitro para el diagnóstico de la enfermedad de Parkinson que comprende la cuantificación en sangre, suero o plasma de los niveles de nitro-α-sinucleína nitrosilada en los residuos Tyr125 y/o Tyr136. Asimismo, también se relaciona con un método para evaluar la eficacia de la terapia administrada a un individuo que padece la enfermedad de Parkinson y con el uso de anticuerpos específicos de los residuos Tyr125 y/o Tyrl36 y/o Tyr39 nitrosilados de la nitro-α-sinucleína o de inhibidores de la oxido nítrico sintasa en la elaboración de una composición farmacéutica para el tratamiento de la enfermedad de Parkinson.
