Abstract
Un método para tratar el cabello aplicando al cabello una composición de emulsión o microemulsión del tipo aceite en agua (O/W) o agua en aceite (W/O) que contiene un silano o siloxano elastómero que tiene grupos amonio cuaternario en su molécula como fase oleosa de la emulsión o microemulsión, preparada haciendo reaccionar: (i) un compuesto orgánico de amonio cuaternario que tiene grupos epóxido o grupos halohidrina en su molécula con (ii) un silano o siloxano que tiene grupos amino en su molécula, en presencia de (iii) un agente de reticulación y (iv) un tensioactivo, dispersado en (v) una fase polar acuosa.
Description
- (i)
- preparar una primera mezcla que contenga sólo silanos o siloxanos con grupos amino en sus moléculas y un tensioactivo;
- (ii)
- preparar una segunda mezcla añadiendo una primera parte de una fase polar acuosa a la primera mezcla;
(iii) preparar una tercera mezcla añadiendo el resto de la fase polar acuosa a la segunda mezcla;
- (iv)
- preparar una cuarta mezcla añadiendo un agente reticulante a la tercera mezcla; y
- (v)
- calentar la cuarta mezcla.

Ejemplo 3 - Formulaciones de acondicionadores del cabello
Se añadieron muestras de emulsiones que contenían siloxano elastómero para aclarar las formulaciones de
10 acondicionadores utilizando aproximadamente dos por ciento en peso del siloxano elastómero. Las formulaciones de acondicionadores se muestran en la Tabla 2. En la tabla, el acondicionador A no contenía silano ni siloxano. Los acondicionadores B, C, D y E contenían diferentes emulsiones que contienen siloxano elastómero, con un agente reticulante de acrilato, según la presente invención. El acondicionador F contenía una emulsión de siloxano aminofuncional no elastómera con fines comparativos

Los resultados del peinado INSTRON en húmedo utilizando los acondicionadores G-J según la presente solicitud se muestran en la Tabla 6. Se puede ver que las emulsiones que contienen siloxano elastómero, es decir, el acondicionador I y el acondicionador J, proporcionaron la mayor reducción en fuerzas de peinado en húmedo en
5 comparación con el acondicionador A de control que no contenía ni silano ni siloxano, y los acondicionadores G y H que contenían las emulsiones de amino-siloxano elastómero sin la funcionalidad de amonio cuaternario. Los acondicionadores I y J también actuaron mejor que el acondicionador (F) que contenía la emulsión de silicona aminofuncional no elastómera. Todos los acondicionadores que contenían las emulsiones que contenían siloxano elastómero son, por lo tanto, capaces de mejorar las propiedades de acondicionamiento en húmedo del cabello.
10 Los resultados de los ensayos de peinado INSTRON en seco realizados con los acondicionadores A, G-J y F se muestran en la Tabla 4. La Tabla 4 muestra que las emulsiones que contenían siloxano elastómero de la presente invención proporcionaron una reducción en las fuerzas de peinado en seco, en comparación con el acondicionador A de control que no contenía ni silano ni siloxano, y son comparables al acondicionador F de comparación que contenía una emulsión de silicona aminofuncional no elastómera.
