Abstract

1. A container having a body portion (1) which is preferably hollow-cylindrical in the mouth region (1') and which is provided with an edge rolling (2, 3, 5), thereby forming a hollow bead (2), which edge rolling (2, 3, 5) is turned over outwardly and projects downwardly and is formed at the lower end as a support (5) for a tool or the like for lifting off a cover (6) which in particular is provided with a seal (10) and can be fitted on to the container, the edge rolling being adapted to receive the cover, characterised in that the container body portion (1) ist of a slightly conical shape in the lower region (1"), that the lower end of the edge rolling (2, 3, 5) thereof is also formed as a stack support (7) on the container for the releasable, interfitting arrangement of a plurality of identical containers, and that, between the hollow bead (2) and the supports (5, 7), the edge rolling (2, 3, 5) is provided with a constriction (3) forming an outwardly open annular space (12).
