A cover device for a tubular terminal having an axially extending wire receiving slot, the cover of which comprises a one-piece molded tube of plastic material with a closed end and an open receiving end of the terminal, a slot wire receiver extending axially along the plastic tube from the open end and terminating away from the closed end in a transversely extending groove, an axially extending filler element that is centrally positioned, protruding internally from the closed end for application with a wire received in the groove when the cover is applied to the terminal, characterized in that a pair of cutters that are cut receivers of a tool, which extend transversely to the axis, are formed on the outside of the end closed.
