Abstract

Bobina de encendido, prevista para ser utilizada en un sistema de encendido por chispas de motor de combustión interno incluyendo una caja hueca cerrada en una extremidad por una base y cerrada en su extremidad opuesta por una tapa eléctricamente aislante que lleva por lo menos el terminal de salida de alta tensión de la bobina, unos devanados primario y secundario en el interior de la caja, una junta de estanqueidad anular elástica aprisionada entre las caras mutuamente enfrentadas de la caja y de la tapa para cerrar herméticamente la superficie de separación entre la caja y la tapa, y teniendo la caja, en un punto adyacente a dicha junta de estanqueidad, por lo menos una región localizada que tiene una forma tal que se obtenga un punto débil en el cierre hermético producido por la junta de estanqueidad entre la caja y la tapa, con lo cual, cuando la presión en el interior de la caja rebasa un valor predeterminado, la acción de cierre hermético de dicho punto débil falla lo que alivia el exceso de presión en la caja.
