Abstract
Procedimiento de preparación de derivados antibióticas de reacción básica, dotados de toxicidad menor que la de los antibióticos de los cuales ellos se derivan, y que consiste, en poner en presencia, en medio líquido, un antibiótico de reacción básica que presente por lo menos un grupo básico libre con una sal de un ácido escogido en el grupo de los ácidos hidroxialcansulfínicos e hidroxialcansulfónicos, en dejar luego en contacto los productos durante una hora por lo menos, ya que la reacción es relativamente lenta, y por último, cuando ésta se halle manifiestamente terminada, en separar el producto de condensación obtenido, por medios tales como la liofilización del líquido o la precipitación por medio de un disolvente en el cual el producto sea insoluble.
