Abstract

An end collector for the armature of an electrical machine, particularly for use in motor vehicles, the collector including a tubular metal hub (10) and collecting strips (1) disposed radially on a truncated cone shaped insulating support (4) of moulded material by the intermediary of anchoring means (3, 3a and 3b) provided on the rear face of each of the collecting strips (1), of which two (3a, 3b) are formed towards each of the radial edges within the perimeter of said strips and near to their peripheries, the insulating support (4) including radial projections (5) at its periphery, characterised in that the two anchoring means (3a, 3b) formed at the periphery of each of the collecting strips (1) are embedded respectively in each of the radial projections (5) of the insulating support, which are of substantially rectangular form and constant thickness so as to obtain an effective anchorage of the two means (3a, 3b).
