Abstract
Procedimiento para la fabricación de briquetas susceptibles de tratamiento metalúrgico, constituidas por minerales metalíferos y por combustibles capaces de combustión lenta, obtenidas por prensado con eventual adición de materias adicionales y de aglomerantes, caracterizado por el hecho de que las briquetas prensadas son conducidas por un medio de transporte a través de un horno de combustión lenta, de que en una antecámara de dicho horno se verifica un precalentamiento de las briquetas y a continuación, en una cámara principal provista de quemadores, una eliminación total o parcial de los elementos volátiles de los combustibles contenidos en las briquetas, de que las briquetas, antes de su salida del horno, son conducidas por una cámara de enfriamiento, y de que en todas las cámaras del horno se mantiene una atmósfera reductora, producida en la cámara principal por una combustión pobre en oxígeno delante de los quemadores.
