With the bag according to the invention, food, especially food ready for consumption, can be packaged safely and reliably. It is especially possible to close the opening of the bag with the protruding segment on the back side. Apart from this by tearing off a part of the bag along the perforated seams of the front and back side, a napkin-type wrap can be created, with which the food can be kept clean and safe for consumption. Here it is especially advantageous that by removing a part of the bag the food product is suitable for immediate consumption.

From figure 1 a schematic plan view on a bag 1 according to the invention can be deduced. In the case of the bag 1 it is a side fold bag that is shown in the folded state. The front side 2 has an edge 4 on the side of the opening, an edge 6 on the side of the bottom and the mutually opposite first and second side edges 8 and 10. In addition to this the bag has on one rear side 12 an end 14 on the side of the opening, an end 16 on the side of the bottom and the first and second side edges 18 and 20. In the embodiment shown, the lateral edges 6 and 18 basically coincide on the bottom side of the front and rear sides and form a fold. At this point the fundamentally integral foil tape, which forms the bag 1, has been folded, so that the front and the back side 2 or 12 get to be placed on top of each other. In the embodiment shown, the bag has been executed with a composite paper formed by a layer of paper and a layer of synthetic material glued on top. to the second side edge of the bag. In the embodiment according to the invention represented by a bag 1 the front and rear sides 2 and 12 are not configured with the same dimension. Rather the end 14 on the opening side of the rear side 12 protrudes greatly from the end 4 on the opening side of the front side 2. This segment 30 made available by the rear side 12 can be used to cover or roll the product food present in the bag, whereby at least by segments a multi-layer packing structure is obtained. This multiplicity of layers has proven to be very advantageous, especially in the case of moist or very greasy foods, but a moisture soak or a fat filtrate can be prevented. In addition to this, on the front side 2 and the back side 12 of the bag 1 there are perforated seams 32 or 34. Both perforated seams extend, in the embodiment shown, from the respective end on the bottom side to the one of the opening side of the front and rear side. If the front and rear sides 2 and 12 are placed next to each other, in the embodiment shown, the perforated seams 32 and 34 essentially come into contact, that is, they are placed one above the other. The perforated seams 32 and 34 run essentially parallel to the side edges of the front and rear side and are more distant from the second side edges, the front and rear side, than the first side edges of the front and rear side. If a food product is then presented in the bag 1, advantageously rolled up by a segment 30, by simply pulling out a bag segment along the perforated seams, the food can be partially exposed. Although food products such as sandwiches, in the embodiment shown, can be rolled several times with the protruding segment of the rear side, a secure start-up and with secure positioning is achieved, with a partial exposing of the food . Here the user is offered the possibility of choosing between extracting the narrowest strip 36, in order to have the maximum possible bag material for a secure hold of the food. Alternatively, the narrowest segment 38 can also be used to hold the food, which remains after the bag is torn along the perforated seams. In this way, an always clean consumption of even wet or greasy products is achieved, without the user being in danger of getting dirty.

Figure 2 shows an alternative embodiment of a bag 1 according to the invention in which, unlike in the bag according to Figure 1, the front side 2 covers a larger surface relative to the rear side 12, with that the free segment 30 of the rear side 12 is reduced.

Figures 3 a) to e) illustrate, by way of example and in a simplified manner, the process of producing a bag according to the invention 1, as shown in Figure 1. It is first made available in this variant a so-called endless composite paper tape 3 (fig. 3a)), in which a perforated seam 33 running parallel to the side edges (fig. 3b) is incorporated through a suitable punch tool. Then the lateral edge regions of the composite paper tape are also folded or folded mechanically, in order to configure some lateral folds (Figure 3 c)). Naturally, steps 3 b) and 3 c) can also be carried out in reverse sequence or even simultaneously. In a next step, the paper tape 3 is sectioned perpendicularly to the side edges, in such a way that essentially rectangular segments 5 are obtained, with a longitudinal extension corresponding to the sum of the length on the front side and on the side rear (see figure 3 d)). A segment of the sheet tape is then retracted, thereby configuring a folding 7 (whose position has been disclosed by means of strokes in fig. 3d)). In the region in which the lateral folds 23 and 25 of the separated sheet tape get to be placed on top of each other, an adhesive has previously been applied at least by segments. By means of which the regions folded on each other are pressed on each other in any case in the region of the superimposed lateral folds, a sufficient connection is created to configure a bag according to the invention (fig. 3e)). Because the separate foil tape has not been centrally retracted, an outstanding segment 30 remains on the rear side 12. As has been shown, the bag 1 according to the invention can be obtained through only four process steps.

Figures 4a) to f) illustrate, by way of example and in a simplified manner, an alternative production process of a bag 1 according to the invention. In this variant, a so-called endless composite paper tape 3 (fig. 3a) is made available, in which perforated seams 40 running transversely from the first side edge to the second edge are incorporated through a suitable punching tool. opposite side (fig. 4b). A perforated seam 33, which runs parallel to the side edge (fig. 4c), is then incorporated through another drilling tool. Steps 4 b) and 4 c) can also be implemented in reverse sequence. In a next step, isolated segments, essentially rectangular, of the endless belt along the perforated seams 40, for example by a tensile load, are torn off.
